I am surprised how clean this hotel is. It’s hard to find in San Antonio. I’ve had many horrible hotel experiences in this town and I’m soooo glad I didn’t have that issue here. I’m writing this while tucked into fresh scented bedding and a clean room. The rooms are cozy, CLEAN, right by Walmart and Costco. If you’re staying a few days it’s nice to save money being so close to grocery options. Id definitely stay here again. The staff is nice and informational. They will also make accommodations for you. Check out is NOON, and the latest is 1pm. Anytime past that is $20 per hour. Not bad at all in my opinion. They also offer breakfast, haven’t had it yet but it’s nice to have that option available. I usually don’t write reviews but this was such a pleasant experience I had to. Book the room, don’t risk the bed bugs or dying of bleach smell from these other hotels in the area. 10/10

Staff not available. They evidently had other responsibilities elsewhere, and were not at the front desk when needed. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. The rooms were worn and old, curtains were torn, and light would shine through. The curtains also overlapped the air conditioner vent, and the cold air goes up behind the curtain and not into the room. Old air conditioners were loud and would wake me up throughout the night as the compressor turned on and off. Typical conditions for an old motel. I chose this hotel for the location. Would probably stay again because of the price and the staff.

Excellent place to stay. Barry is the front desk attendant on the weekend and is super friendly and helpful. The hotel is well taken care of. The rooms are nice and clean. Rooms also come with two TVs which is great for gamers or people into sports because the other TV can be used by family. The hotel property feels safe and is well lit. Overall, this a great hotel with good service, and a good location.

The Plus in the name meant nothing here

Bathroom layout doesn't offer a place for soap or shampoo, shower's floor was moldy and questionable, water from the shower would run into the toilet's half of the bathroom unless stopped by a towel, showerhead hung lower than the average human height, jet tub's button was unusable because it was broken, plus bathtub appeared to leak to the floor, curtains had holes in them, TVs are severely outdated with 1080p resolution and badly calibrated, remote's signal was barely connecting to the TV; AC wouldn't properly cool the room unless lower than 65. If it weren't for the spaciousness of the room, this would've been awful. Subpar experience. I've had a better experience at a regular Western Hill than this allegedly Plus one

I enjoyed our stay as a family of 7. I’ll start off with the good, the breakfast, how close it is to a lot of stores, the staff was friendly, it was quiet , beds were comfy, water pressure was great, water gets HOT, and we felt safe. We noticed a hanging picture in our room full of mold, the room had a weird smell to it when we walked in, we also smelt a strong scent of weed in our room later in evening after check in, the hot tub wasn’t bubbling and it had leaves in it but we noticed the day of check out they had pool maintenance out there. I would stay here again!

The site is in a nice area of town, but as soon as I entered the property I could tell there is a mediocre maintenance plan. As I walked in the lobby there was a woman who appeared to be a transient walkimg around in the lobby like she was lost, which raised a safety flag. As we reached the third floor there was a strong, unpleasant smell, maybe sewage or some strange cuisine, but nauseating. Around 11 pm while we were watching a movie, the AC motor stopped, I tought it would cycle back on but it didn't, so after 40 minutes I told the receptionist, also told him about the smell, but he brushed it off with an Im sorry, but there's nothing I can do. I messed aroumd with the AC for about 30 more minutes after I came back to my room, it was warm, I was worried it would become miserably hot, but something I did got it working again. The ice machines on the 3rd floor didn't work, so I went to the 2nd floor, it took 15 minutes for the machine to dispense the ice and fill the small ice bucket. The parking spaces are so narrow, so if you have a nice car be carefully with door dings. Lastly, I told the morning receptionist about the smell and AC, and again she brushed it off with an "Im sorry, I'll write a note in the system". She made no effort to make it right, so I left it at that. The breakfast was good and the interior of the rooms was clean, but other than that it was all a terrible experience.
