We always enjoy our stay at the Atwood. It is showing its age though. Just little things but in general, it’s clean, comfy and affordable and…..no parking fee!

Served the purpose for the short trip however the bathroom could use some work. Drain in sink & shower backing up as well as the floor being soft/lifted due to the water leaking I assume. AC unit was dirty, could use a good cleaning. Good location.

This is my second year staying at this place and it’s always been great. The restaurant and small store at the location is really convenient. The food at the restaurant is delicious and the staff there are always very welcoming and on top of it. The small store has a little bit of everything which is convenient when you forget to pack something or need a snack/drink. The rooms have always been clean and I have never had an issue with any noise or other people staying at the place. In fact, I have met some really kind people just by hanging out at the hot tub. This location is also nearby the downtown/gaslamp area/ beaches and the Uber rides are at a reasonable price. I plan to continue to stay here for the upcoming trips I have to San Diego.

I stay in Mission valley once a week and I usually stay here. Front desk is super nice and it’s a good spot and plenty of places to eat/drink near by. I know everybody has different levels of comfort for beds “ I sleep on a plush” at home so for me the bed was a bit too stiff at the hotel. Plan on staying there again next Thursday though.
