The staff was amazing. We had some really loud neighbors and they moved us as soon as we mentioned it. They also saved us a parking spot during the concerts. They really went above and beyond! The downside - the place is old and walls are thin so you hear everything. We just didn’t sleep great at all. The area around the hotel is rough. Human feces on the sidewalk, really dirty. The upside - the staff, and the vibe of the hotel is rad. We loved the courtyard and all the plants.

Pleasant place feels safe to be in

Staff was super helpful during our stay. The room is clean and tidy, no air con but there are fans for ventilation, bathtub is a bit worn out but overall we had a pleasant time.

The phoenix hotel is super cute, the staff was friendly and the room was clean. It was unusually hot in San Fran during our stay and theres no air conditioning in the rooms so we had to leave our door open for awhile to make the room comfortable. Otherwise 10/10
