The hotel was up scale funky, beautiful, clean and staff friendliness was outstanding. Beautiful hotel. Their restaurant was top notch with gourmet food, beautiful views ofnthe mountains and staff were super attentive, friendly and made us feel at home. This is a gem in the heart of San Jose

All employees are very welcoming All staff well prepared, the hotel is beautiful. the restaurant has excellent food and drinks and the stuff is friendly and very accommodating. The room was nice and the bed very good, we rested well our last night in Costa Rica.

Usually hotel restaurants are hit or miss. Their Azotea Calle 7 on the 4th floor was amazing! My wife would give them six stars if she could. We had the ceviche which was amazing, followed by the sea bass entree with a carrot puree. It was fantastic. The service was great as well. We went to other restaurants in the city cneter and nothing compared. You have to try this place!

Location and safety are the reasons I will be back again!!!! So close to all the downtown tourist spots. There were several cafes and convenience stores nearby. The room was so spacious, I even have a little indoor patio seating area to chill. It feels like a little oasis in the middle of a bustling city center. The service from local Costa Ricans are amazing!

Great hotel in downtown San Jose

Excellent hotel, superb staff who went out of their way to welcome and take care of us, top-notch food and helpful & efficient staff in the restaurant, very comfortable room and bed, overall superb. Downtown San Jose is interesting but a bit tatty, though a very prominent security presence was very comforting (though we did not tour after dark). The area is visually attractive but too full of souvenir shops, rather like New York's Times Square in the1980s. But the hotel itself more than compensated for the lack of neighborhood ambience.

The hotel was located in a secure gated facility within the city. Parking was kind of difficult to get into because it is right on a busy street but once they open the gate they valet your car across the street and when you need the car just call 100 and they will bring the car around for you. Decor was great, bedding was comfortable, room was clean except a burn mark on the carpet. There wasn't a place to hang bath towels in the bathroom. I was kind of disappointed that I didn't get a balcony superior room that I requested and confirmed through the messenger with staff during reservation. Breakfast was decent and service was great. Restaurant on site closes at 9pm but there was a few options nearby. There was a casino but you can't enter through the hotel only exit from casino. Outdoor rooftop garden was so cute! There is also 24 hour coffee/tea located in the lobby. Thank you for having us and for the little gummies treats!
