The entire facility was nothing more than a motel that appeared to have aged poorly. The most glaring problems were that there was very limited and spotty access to hot water for showering, the toilets didn't work at times, the room lacked a separate table and chair, and the bed was very uncomfortable. There were very more minor issues. The only thing that pleased us was a good front desk staff and a fairly decent breakfast. Beware, this is not a hotel, but an older and apparently aging motel instead that is charging hotel prices. We won't come back, and I would not recommend it to anyone except if other accommodations can't be found.

The cleanliness of the property was not up to par for the price of the room stay, I paid close to $700 for 2 rooms per night. Both rooms had cleanliness issues, such as soiled sheets and stained duvet. When I went to get new sheets and Duvet I was encountered with the hotel “GM” Tom, whom unfortunately was inebriated while on the clock and unable to understand my concerns with soiled sheets and unclean rooms. Fortunately, Ryan was called in for reinforcement and was able to help me get clean sheets and duvet. I went back downstairs to pick up my pizza order and was stunned to find Tom the “GM” sitting at the bar with a nice vodka soda enjoying the game with other patrons. This stay was beyond disappointing. I have pictures.

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating allowing us to check in early. Breakfast was nice. Hot eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, waffles, pastries. The only thing I wish I would have know before our stay was that there is a homeless hotel next to the oaks. There was no homeless at the oaks but we had to drive extra careful, especially at night because they were in the street.

The handicapped spaces were too few. Just two at the location. Your supposed snack/gift shop left a lot too be desired. Did not use either the pool or the hot tub. Your breakfast was barely edible the entree dishes were cold and your selection poor. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Great price for the area, and offered everything we needed for a weekend wine tasting trip with friends. Not the poshest hotel in town, but clean, great staff, and good breakfast! A great deal for your money. Plenty of parking and well lit. Did not use the pool or hot tub, so we cannot comment!

Awesome hotel! Loved the room, beds are comfy, shower great, mini fridge and coffee maker too! Breakfast is a good variety and there is a bar there too (beer and wine). It is near the freeway entrance but you cannot hear anything. Very quiet. About 5 minutes from Downtown Paso Robles.
