Nature haven in the city

Cavallo Point is an exceptional reprieve from the busy-ness of downtown. Awoke to chirping birds, while enjoying my espresso on the porch while lounging among nature. Booked a two bedroom adjoining suite - assumed each would have its own bathroom. Very disappointed-at this price point, that we had to share a bathroom. I communicated this to the resort who did offer a discount to “upgrade” to even larger accommodations. But after spending $1700 for our 12 hr stay - I declined their offer.

I really wanted to write a terrible review to keep people away from this hidden gem, but I just can’t. This place is great. The contemporary rooms are awesome, the bar is very well stocked and the bartenders are knowledgeable. It is just a short hop across the GG to SF, and even closer to Sausalito. With the exception of the staff at reception the people here are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. This will be our “go-to” place for future trips to SF.

We had the most incredible time here- our only wish is that we had more time! We loved all of the amenities- blown away by service of the staff! We had a room upgrade which was so special, we loved the view of the bridge from our room so much we stayed in for room service so we could enjoy it! We had the best stay and can’t wait to come back again!

Unique and Amazing

This property is one of my favorites! The views of the Golden Gate Bridge are incredible, as well as of the Bay. The grounds are beautiful and the restaurant is very delicious. The service is bar none excellent. I would definitely recommend this unique hotel. My only complaint is that the suites need a few updates. For example, the blinds in both rooms were broken and wouldn't roll up, making for a less clear view of the bridge.

A couple of miles from downtown but really the best hotel option if you want a luxury setting. A nice boutique shop and restaurant bar on premises. Very high standard Gym could use another elliptical in the gym. Not sure why they only have one considering the other high class aspects of the property which includes a spa
