We stayed here a night with my family. The room was clean and newly renovated. The bathroom and the kitchen area were all well-cleaned and prepared for the guest. They were kind to provide snacks on the kitchen table. The location is motel is very convenient for your stay both for Lake george or lake placid visit. Definetely will stay here again in the future!

The room was large and it was convenient to park just outside. The chairs just out the door were also nice. The hotel didn’t have many guests though, so it seemed rather odd that with only a couple of noticeably occupied rooms, they would be assigned next door to one another and the two rooms closest to the highway. The neighbors were late arrivals and got up very early making a lot of noise rushing to get out. Needless to say, it wasn’t a restful night.

I've stayed here before and returned twice recently because it's very reasonably priced, very clean and has amenities to make you more comfortable that other places I've stayed don't necessarily have. The Maple Leaf was a great find for me since I've stayed at a few other places in Schroon Lake which were OK, but this is my favorite spot to stay.
