Also explore the sights of Sukosan, such as the Church of the Gracious Madonna with built-in loopholes across from the old town gate. Or visit the landmark, namely the archbishop's summer residence Palac, built on an artificial island. Stroll along the harbor and stop at one of the many restaurants to enjoy the local cuisine. This is also a wonderful place for nature lovers, as it is surrounded by numerous national parks and nature reserves. A visit to the nearby city of Zadar is also always worthwhile.
