Characteristic 48 sqm apartment with mezzanine, for 4 people, located on the ground floor of a historic building (step at the entrance). There are stairs inside the property. The accommodation is located in the Restricted Traffic Area, on the island of Ortigia, the enchanting historic center of Syracuse.

The apartment consists of a bedroom (mezzanine), a living room with a kitchenette and a bathroom.

The apartment is organized as follows:

- LIVING AREA with double sofa bed, 40' flat screen SmartTV and dining table;

- KITCHENETTE with induction hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave oven, toaster, moka, wine glasses and various kitchen utensils;

- BEDROOM with double bed, dressing table and clothes rack;

- BATHROOM with shower box, sink, bidet and WC.



FURTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited wifi, hot-cold a/c (split in the living room and bedroom), iron and ironing board, clothesline and hairdryer.



Cot and high chair available on request and upon reservation.



ATTENTION: please note the presence of internal stairs (to access the bedroom) and a step at the entrance. All windows are equipped with protective grilles.



To ensure the security of your personal data, 7 days before your arrival you will receive instructions to register your documents via our Guest Portal and to pay the tourist tax (4% of the cost of the stay up to a maximum of €5.00 per person per night of stay, up to a maximum of 7 nights).

Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 6/10/2022 n.383).

Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings.

Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.

Syracuse Climatic Zone B: 7 hours a day from December 8th to March 23rd.



Check-in will take place in online self check-in mode, completing registration is MANDATORY in order to receive instructions on how to collect the keys and access the apartment.

Keys can be collected free of charge via on-site keybox.

In case of problems, telephone assistance will be guaranteed until 10pm.



If you wish to receive the keys from a member of our staff in the apartment, it is possible, upon request with payment of a supplement equal to:

- From 15:00 to 21:00: €15.00;

- From 21:00 to 23:00: €25.00.



The apartment is located in the heart of the wonderful island of Ortigia, the historic center of Syracuse, a fascinating labyrinth of picturesque squares and alleys framed by the sea. The island offers a perfect mix of history, culture and natural beauty.

The main towns of Sicily can be reached by Interbus coaches from the central station (via Rubino), where the shuttles to Catania-Fontanarossa airport also depart (approximately 1 hour journey).



- FROM CATANIA AIRPORT: it is possible to reach the apartment by taking the ALIBUS bus service which connects Catania airport to Catania Central Station, where it is possible to take the regional train to Siracusa station, a 30 minute walk from the property.

Alternatively, from the airport you can take

the INTERBUS bus service to Siracusa station, a 30 minute walk from the accommodation.

- FROM SYRACUSE STATION: you can reach the apartment on foot in about 30 minutes.



- IF YOU ARE TRAVELING BY CAR: The nearest car park is 190 m away from the apartment and is called Autopark Ortigia di La Mesa Maurizio.

Alternatively, it is possible to park for free in the nearby streets (NOT guaranteed and NOT bookable).



ATTENTION: The island of Ortigia is located in the Traffic Restricted Area (closing days and times depending on the season).
