Understandable room wasn’t ready for early check in but it still wasn’t ready after 4pm. The room given instead had a window that had a crappy shade so it didn’t block out light. I did not sleep well for the two nights I stayed here. I tried to solely sleep away from the window to avoid the light. Also lovely when people blast music in the cars parked right by the window in the morning. I don’t think I’ll stay here ever again.

We absolutely loved this hotel. Everyone there was extremely nice. They offered shuttle service to take you within 3 miles. Evan was extremely helpful. If I come back to Tampa, I would definitely come back here. Only issue was there was only 1 elevator working, & it wasn't too bad (if you are not in a hurry).

This is my second time staying at Hotel Alba. Love the atmosphere, the staff are all helpful, pool open late till 10pm (rare to find a pool open late) and options of eating and having drinks at the bar. Bartenders are amazing especially Bryan! There is a mall within walking distance but if you want to explore Tampa (Ybor or surrounding areas) you will need to catch an uber or rent a car. ***Just a warning only 1 elevator has been working since Hurricane Helen hit. But they are doing their very best at having someone in the elevator at all times to make sure it picks everyone up quickly.

Only 1 elevator working. Our Toilet paper holder was broken & kept falling off. The Bathroom sliding door was missing some "bumpers" so it was loud every time it opened /closed. Our friends room had a dress behind the chair. The common space was pretty & staff was nice. Just needs some TLC as the wear is showing through.
