Tiny little rooms, tiny little bathrooms, mattress is 6 inches deep at best over a metal frame, very uncomfortable pillows, they charge for everything, even to use their tiny little pool, they have 4 washing machines, that are ALWAYS busy, we finally got to do our laundry at 4:45 am, after 2 extended cycles, the clothes were still wet, they told us to hang them in the room to dry 😂 never again, 5 sleepless nights

Clean, beautiful in the front and at the front desk, but really not worth it. Not many chairs for us while we wait (seems to have many, but more big 1 person chairs). The elevators are slow. Make sure to go out before or after rushing hours. The laundry machines are another horror story. Your clothes will never be clean nor dry completely. People are waiting to use them like a war with the last ration of food. At the end, I washed my clothes in my own bathroom. No A/C on the elevator, nor in the hallway to your room because it's outside. Rooms are way smaller than it looks. Not going there again.

Nice location.

Good place and easy access with short distance for the train stations around the area. Lack of communication regarding using the pool, as need to pay extra and in case if you have tattoos, forget about. Also not so great with breakfast for vegetarian options. Overall, good place.

Bed and shower were great, but surprised by the other things such as; a) the lift and in-between level foyers are hot and not well ventilated. It was Summer but having been to 7 other hotels with lifts and middle level foyer spaces… this was hot. b) there were limited washing machines. Out of the many hundred rooms, only 4 washing machines that are used. I stayed trying overnight and still nothing. The same washing machines are where the microwave and vending machines are located. One tiny room with bad ventilation (as mentioned in a)). c) the upper pool level says you need to pay more for access? We got told nothing of this until just a small sign above. On the outside it looks grand, the room is cosy. But having been to other hotels that provide more facilities and go the extra human touch. This made us feel underwhelmed by.

Transit and convenient stores are nearby Roppongi is a nice balance of city life and people. Only downside from our stay was that there is only 4 washer/dryer machine for the entire 18 floors.

Although the lobby is nice, there’s no AC in the common areas. Meaning if you’re waiting for your elevator or using the lobby bathroom, you will sweat every ounce of water in your body. The elevators do not go to who presses the button first, it goes up to the top and stops floor by floor. I waited 15 minutes on the 3rd floor to go downstairs and went down the stairs with my luggage. The elevators kept coming full with no space for those on the lower levels. Makes no sense as to why there’s no central ac in the hallway and common areas. Use of the pool is not included which makes no sense, they charge per hour. Check out is at 10 instead of 11. With all the money they save with the ac and all the money they gain by charging for the pool they should have better amenities. Genuinely don’t recommend this place in the summer.

When I first arrived to the property, I was surprised that the Front Desk spoke English and very helpful about getting into my room. While I was staying there for a couple of days, it was easy for me to get my room cleaned as I put the sign of notice cleaning on the front of the door, which was magnetic and was clean the next day upon my arrival. The only thing I was the dissatisfied about was when I asked to use the pool I obviously had tattoos, and the receptionist saw it and didn’t mention for me to not use the pool or say I noticed you have tattoos. Maybe you shouldn’t use the pool as it’s not allowed. But in the end I end up paying 2000 to pay for the usage of the pool and a towel. When I arrive at the pool area, they told me I was not allowed in. I was surprised that they took my money without even telling me. But regardless, my day was pretty fantastic. Also, if you ever want to use the laundry on the upper floors, it’s always busy so I wasn’t unable to wash my clothes and I had to go to a private Dry Cleaning company around the area to get all my clothes cleaned.

Really enjoyed this APA hotel at Roppongi. We had a nice double room that had everything we needed to stay in Tokyo midtown. The staff were all very helpful and warm! I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.
