The hotel was great for my needs. Great spot in Shinjuku for the price. The staff were helpful and everything was super easy. I wouldnโ€™t recommend it for a family, but itโ€™s great for young adults and solo travelers that donโ€™t mind the adult scene.

Tradition and economics

It was neat to stay in a traditional Japanese-style room. It wasnโ€™t the room shown in the pic with the cool rock but we saw that room when someone opened their door. All in all, details were a lil worn but, for the economical price, room style, and great location, it worked for us.

The room was modest but comfortable. The facilities were a little tired. The desk staff were friendly. The local area was very noisy on the Friday night we were there, and that continued all night.

This is a fine place for a night or two. The futon mattresses were a bit thin, but again, fine for an evening. There's a mini fridge and kettle in the room and the staff were kind enough to store our luggage all day long, even after we checked out.

The hotel is centrally located and the staff is friendly. The rooms get noisy since they aren't really insulated from outside sounds, and the paint/wallpaper was pretty dirty. The bathroom and showers were clean, and the roll out floor bedding was comfortable and clean.
