We had a decent experience overall. The rooms are well appointed and thoughtfully designed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The in-room projector is a fantastic feature and adds a unique touch. The front desk staff were exceptional; incredibly polite, helpful, and prompt with any requests. The location is excellent, close to everything you could need, with a wide selection of restaurants nearby. The rooms and lobby were very clean, and the laundry facilities were especially convenient while traveling.
A few details kept me from giving a full five-star rating. While the projector is a great addition, it emits a blue indicator light that shines above the bed even when turned off, which can be disruptive when trying to sleep. The breakfast selection was somewhat limited and felt underwhelming. The room also did not offer much of a view.
Also, we had an unfortunate interaction at the Canvas bar. One staff member (gentleman that typically wears all black, not the gentleman who wears the beige/sand-colored apron) came across as rude and lacking basic courtesy. It felt out of place given how professional and welcoming the rest of the team was.
Another note: the lobby shares space with the lounge/bar area. At times, it was loud with music and guests drinking, which made it less comfortable when simply trying to head up to the room.
