Where the hotel is located is not very ideal/safe with the rising crime in Toronto, although I will admit the hotel looks luxurious and for the most part, it is. Our room was good, we got the double beds, a standard room. The blankets were a weird and uncomfortable texture for me personally, the bed itself was comfortable enough and the AC was perfect in the room, bathrooms were clean but the ceiling above the shower was spotted with old water marks. Decently sized closet and a balcony with.. a questionable view (room 1021 at least) with construction all around.. But that’s Toronto as a whole! The family pool was fun, the water slide is perfect for younger children and myself (a 19 year old female) and the adult pool is also really nice, you get a great view of the CN tower! The breakfast wasn’t the greatest especially for $37/pp… The eggs and sausages were oddly watery and the waffles were alright. Probably wouldn’t get it again though and would rather find something else downtown. Overall; not a bad place to stay for a few nights.

3/5 stars Our stay at the Chelsea Hotel Toronto was decent, but not exceptional. The hotel room was mostly clean, but the bathroom could have used some extra attention to detail. A few amenities, like stocked beverages in the fridge, would have been a nice touch. In addition, the rooms could use some minor renovations. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were great. The lobby is truly spectacular with restaurants, shops and bars! We appreciated the convenient location, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and entertainment options nearby. The kids zone was a bonus. It's worth noting that the hotel offers EV charging, which was a factor in our booking decision, even though we didn't end up using it. Overall, while the Chelsea Hotel Toronto has its strengths, it didn't quite live up to our expectations in terms of room cleanliness and amenities. Despite that, we would consider staying here again due to all the positives I mentioned.

We needed a quick one night stay in Toronto... nothing fancy... just clean and affordable. The Chelsea scored. More AC would have been nice but to be fair... it was just hot everywhere.

Good price, family friendly, great pools and area. Market Garden is overprized. Basically got two breakfasts for 67$. Was charged full buffet prize for a 4 and 6 yo who each ate one bowl for fruit loops.

The hotel was welcoming, clean and fun! *All* staff were friendly and effortlessly helpful. The front desk staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a swift and accommodating check in. The hotel was also perfect for our familial entertainment needs — arcade, playroom with bunnies and pool slide! We will definitely always stay at the Chelsea Eaton.
