Beds too hard, add towel rack and extra mirror

A towel rack is needed in the bathroom, or an extra towel hook. A mirror is needed above the desk to make it easier for a second traveler to get ready in the morning. The bed was too firm/hard. My husband said it was like sleeping on plywood and his hip was hurting in the morning. Not worth the money we paid.

Terrible bed

Overall was good, but the bed was terrible. Felt every spring in the bed. Worst Marriott I've ever stayed at.

Newer style property, room was very nice and modern. A/C in hallways didnt work, elevators were like an oven. Hot tub didnt work, very tiny pool but usable.

Expectations Were Too High

The check-in was great. I had a surgery early the next morning, so i tried to find the most comfortable stay prior to my procedure. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The pillows were extremely lumpy, bed was really uncomfortable, and the a/c until made a noise all night long. I had already taken my night meds, so moving rooms wasn't possibe since i was on pain meds before my surgery. We got to the next morning to find that we only had decaf coffee and were told that we would be charged a fee to our room if they made us a pot of coffee. I thought i was booking a comfortable room to rest, but it was anything but that.

The room was very nice and comfortable. There was no A/C in the hallways or elevators and August in North Texas is ridiculously hot. There were large, noisy fans operating in the hallways. Went to the lobby for breakfast and found no wait staff. there was a carafe with coffee, a tray of condiments, but no cups. Maybe just bad timing, but I won't be staying at this hotel again. I will find another Marriot affiliate in Tyler for my next stay.

The hotel and room was fantastic. I unfortunately did not have the opportunity to utilize any of amenities but wish i could have, especially the cafe. Other than being ignored for almost 5 min at check in and no ac in the halls or elevators, my short stay was wonderful and i would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
