If I could have rated the staff higher for this hotel I would have. The people running the hotel were superb - they went beyond with their service and were incredibly sweet. They are also so close to the best restaurants and right in the middle of all the excitement of the city.

Fantastic welcoming staff, a real family business, it's like staying with friends. Pristine clean rooms serviced daily, fantastic old historic location close to many bars, restaurants, shops - a short walk anywhere. Loved our time here. Great water pressure in the shower, too. Not a fancy place but the hospitality & helpfulness make up for it in spades!

This is an ideal location for a low-budget horror film. It is terrifying, with drunken guests hurling blunt objects at your door in a dark hallway. The tiny rooms evoke a mid-twentieth century, low-budget funeral parlor feel.

A wonderful stay in the center of Valencia. Very helpful and friendly owners that have a gem of a place. Safe, easy walking distance to churches and museums, great dining and bakery options nearby. Coffee and treats in the morning. Comfortable room with large windows.

Lovely family run hotel in great location

Really friendly and helpful staff who are all part of this family run business, and very happy to offer excellent advice on travel, restaurants, beaches etc. Very quiet room, although it’s in a great location right in the old town, 3 mins from Mercat central and the cathedral

The building walls are paper thin. Can hear every word and sound from adjacent rooms and hallways. If your a light sleeper like me you will not get any sleep. The WiFi did not work either.

Lovely family run hotel

This Hostal is run by a lovely family who are very welcoming and clearly want to ensure the best experience for there guests. The rooms are spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds and efficient shower; and windows looking over the street. The location is perfect in the pedestrianised centre of the old town ( no traffic!) so we were able to sleep with the windows open rather than use the aircon. The pastries and bread from the family bakery are delicious too. The will definitely be our first choice of hotel when we next return to Valencia

GEM IN THE OLD PART OF THE CITY

Definitely my choice for any return stay to Valencia. Can be a tad challenging to find if arriving by car. In proximity of the cathedral and other historical buildings, along with a plethora of restaurants and stores. The staff could not have been more courteous - helpful at every turn. The entire property was immaculate. As in the case with many lodging options in cities, parking was a challenge. There is a nearby underground parking garage, but the cost is 20 Euros per day!

Valencia's hidden gem

Excellent centre location for sightseeing, city atmosphere, restaurants and bars. Carparking nearby which was a little expensive. The hotel manager and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our twin room was very pleasant, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The balcony from our room overlooked a narrow street, which was a bit noisy... but it WAS a fiesta week. The bathroom was perfectly clean, with plenty of hot water and all the necessary requirements. This was the first time we had stayed in a hostel, but would certainly return, as well as fully recommending Antigua Morellana to anyone. An excellent and very happy stay.

Gem of a place

Gem of a place, everything was really good from service to cleanliness and the location was ideal. Simple accommodation but lovely touches like access to coffee and cakes at breakfast and friendly staff that go the extra mile to assist. Would definitely stay again if returning to Valencia.

A fantastic family run hotel situated in a great area. Close to a lot of restaurants and cafes and bars but also close to the city. The owner was so helpful when we arrived, Sonia showed us how to find the main sites of the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to visit the city and be among the locals.
