This is a hotel I would happily stay in again. Nice big rooms, clean and well kept. Great value food in the restaurant as well as a great breakfast. The hotel is a little off the beaten track but had everything I needed for an overnighter.

Hotel Restaurant Sausa provides excellent value for money spent. The room was very clean with a refrigerator and a large bathroom with wall-in shower. It is not fancy, but it met our needs. There is a nice big pool and an on site restaurant, but we did not utilize either. This is a convenient base for day trips to Girona, Figueres, Besalu, and the Mediterranean coastal towns.

Easy to find and lots of dedicated parking close to reception. Note that the reception appears not to be open all the time (we arrived to find another group of guests tryng to get it) so message ahead with arrival time. Room was excellent, large, clean, comfortable bed, excellent bathroom. We used the restaurant for dinner, where the meal was rather prefunctory, from a set menu (In Spanish) and we were asked for our menu choice as soon as we had sat down, without even having been shown a menu. House wine is tolerable, but cheap! Check out easy.
