Room needs an upgrade. Shower head is rusted. Window curtains are sunburned. Need to be changed. Furniture outdated. No apps available on TV, blood found on bedroom door. Did a wipe down when entered room. Closets, cabinets were not thoroughly cleaned/dusted. No antibacterial liquid soap available to wash hands .

This is one of the best staff in any hotel in the world. I travel constantly and the miles are wide. Anytime I walk into the lobby I’m met with a warm smile, helpful air & just wonderful people. Love them all!

The rooms have a nice layout (booked a 2 bedroom queen) and it was a pleasant surprise that they are not right next to each other, but rather one bed in a bedroom and one in the living room area. There is no couch because of this, but its nice to have that privacy element. It was January when I was there and the windows let ALOT of cold air in. The first night I was freezing because of this. The next night, I turned the heat up a lot more and was more comfortable. It served the purpose for my visit to Norfolk and it had a lot of things within walking distance (starbucks, Jersey Mikes, Krispy Kreme). Not bad at all.

Staff was good. First room smell like heavy smokers. Staff did put us on didn’t room a floor up. Smell pot on the hall way. Purchase a deodorizer. To spray at door way. Smell leaked into the room.

Rooms need some updating. One bed was squeaky every time you mad the least movement and was in need of a new mattress. The sofa beds mattress was so thin you could feel the springs. We had to put the bedding on the sofa to sleep on.
