The hotel staff were so friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast was very nice, with a great range to choose from. Lovely hotel, I will definitely return. Only down fall is that the shower temperature fluctuates while showering.

Very family friendly and safe. Breakfast option is good and the staff are very polite and helpful. I prefer to have more hooks to hang out towels and clothes. And a small fridge will be very handy

Not exactly what I hoped for!

Positioned well for wookey hole. Staff friendly on arrival, room clean too. Only 6 hangers supplied for a family room. First morning we asked the room to not be cleaned as we were going to be in for a while, the second morning towels were replaced only and cups changed, beds weren't made, rubbish wasn't emptied. Breakfast choice was okay. We ordered a full English on the first morning and the fried eggs were swimming in grease on the plate. Not appealing at all. There was no key supplied for our balcony doors and being a family room meant our children could open the doors as and when they felt which I wasn't too pleased about and they were left unlocked. The staff were friendly. The bed was very firm and uncomfortable. The hot water is extremely hot, there was no option for warm water so be careful with children using the taps.

Room was very good , the breakfast service was somewhat lacking . No spoons , no cups, no milk , dregs of the juice no continental breakfast offering to speak of , hour before breakfast ends .

We stayed in the tower room, it was fab, but upstairs floor was very creaky and toilet seat would not stay up and had parts missing, also shower floor had seen better days, but a wonderful time had anyway.

The staff were very friendly at this property and the facilities were absolutely amazing. Location was paramount. Only thing to improve on is the food as during the 3 nights we stayed, the food was either overcooked and burnt, or undercooked. I believe the chef needs to be trained on how to cook an egg.

Spooky witchy hotel

Absolutely amazing location, right next to Wookey Hole. The Hotel itself was located in a beautiful setting of the mendip hills. Couldnt fault the hotel, lovely and clean. Also restaurant had great food. Would stay again!
