Location was great; but, room is extremely basic and not worth the price. There was mold on bathroom ceiling. Room needs to be cleaned and painted. An extra blanket in the dresser stunk badly when I opened the drawer so I just closed it back up. There's very little attention to detail in room maintenance.

We celebrated our anniversary in one of the tavern rooms on the Main Street in Williamsburg. Excellent location to walk to everything, good parking, friendly staff, and very quiet at night. The furnishings in our room were a bit worn, but it was very clean and the bed comfortable.

you are located right in the colonial area of Williamsburg which is really great . The rooms are small and it was a bit tough to connect with cleaning staff to make up our rooms. I am glad we tried it out, but I think I will head back to a more traditional hotel for a few more amentities

The facility and surrounding area was fine. Food at the Inn left a lot to be desired. I highly recommend Christina Campbells Tavern for dinner. You must make a reservation. We went off site for breakfast and dinner a couple of times Francesco’s Italian restaurant on Richmond Road was exceptional

The rooms were very plain. There was one full-size bed in our room that two people slept in, but I knew that going in it was rustic because it’s Williamsburg and I picked rustic. However, I gladly would’ve taken the room upgrade.

Check-in was confusing as directions to the house and parking was confusing as signage was poor or non-existent. Also the utilities and flooring needed updating/refreshing as the toilet and shower kept running/leaking, the shower pressure was terrible and the room was difficult to temperature control (thermostat didn't seem to work). I also called to request ice and an extra blanket to be delivered to the room and they failed to be delivered at the agreed upon time. We called again and had to wait almost an hour. Recommend staying at the main hotel or Williamsburg Inn.

It was very mi e but we had booked a two bedroom colonial home and were given a one bedroom. They were unable to move us to a two bedroom but did give us a credit. Otherwise it is a beautiful property.

Underwhelming and overpriced

The paint was peeling, I hit my head on the ceiling multiple times and the $32.50 daily fee for "incidentals" was the kicker. Realizing that the building and the others around the area were likely built with slave labour played on my conscience.

Beautiful Place! Housekeeping Needs Help.

The room was kept clean, but housekeeping could use some pointers. I stayed for 3 nights. The first 2 nights that the room was cleaned, housekeeping left the door unlocked when they left. Due to the old locks, I always double-checked that the lock was engaged when we left for the day. The third night, housekeeping removed one of the pillows from the bed and left us short one. The way the "houses" are set up, we couldn't just call the front desk and request another one.
