We had a very pleasant stay, albeit we all found the swimming pool's water temperature very cold & in a way not at all inviting..in fact a little disagreeable. Throughout our stay we had clear blue skies with temps of between 27- 30 C. The location was perfect for us as within walking distance of restaurants, bars, shops, the local fish market by the docks, supermarkets & a pharmacy etc. On arrival, the Reception staff made us feel at home. All rooms were cosy, with adequate bedding, comfortable mattresses, and a truly quiet environment. The bathroom with large shower stall was also spotless, a good size and functional. Importantly, the free Wi-Fi was also reasonably fast and reliable.

Brilliant stay at Casas del Sol

We had such a great time at Tariqs’ bungalow, we stayed in a different property previously but loved this one due to the view and location. It overlooks the ferry port and sea and we loved sitting watching the world go by. Great space, 2 good size bedrooms lots of storage and a modern bathroom. We hardly sat inside as the terrace was perfect. Everything we needed for a self catering holiday. We had a car so shopped at Aldi or Lidl which are good value. The pool area was great, always sun beds available and not too busy. Communication with Tariq was spot on and check in really easy. We can’t wait to return again it’s like a home from home. Great setting

We both enjoyed our stay. So much so we aim to come again next year. Accommodation is adequate for our use. Maybe towels could be renewed they are a bit worn. But not a problem. Kitchen well equipped. Living area and bedrooms good. Overall great.

Good for some winter sun

Clean and basic, but comfortable. Garden south-facing so plenty of sun. A welcome pack had been referred to in previous reviews, but we weren't expecting one and so not disappointed when there wasn't. But, there was nothing in the cupboards! Not even salt. No washing up cloth/brush or liquid. We had to equip the place from scratch and left a lot there, of course. It would have been helpful to have had a basic info pack in the bungalow and instructions for the washing machine, cooker and TV.The complex itself is very peaceful and probably has the best maintained gardens in Lanzarote. Lovely swimming pool. Central car park. To get luggage/shopping to bungalow you are allowed to park as close as possible to unload but only for 5 mins. Reception team very helpful.The complex is directly opposite Paya Blanca Port which is very busy with transport ferries so there is often the background throbbing of engines. It is not intrusive. A32B is midway between Playa Flamingo and Playa Blanca beaches (10 - 15 min walk). We enjoyed our February week there 2025. Property itself just a bit lacking

Basic property but reasonable for price paid , previously stayed on same complex different unit , 32B not as well furnished but far better bathroom , more outside seating , bigger range of tv choices.

A very basic, clean villa.Everything you meed for a self catering stay. Ideally located. Short walk to bars, shops etc. The pool is wonderful and very clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. One little niggle, as our flight was late on in the evening there is no where to have a hot shower. You could leave your suitcases in reception but it was not secure. We would definitely come back to this accommodation. Thank you Tariq for being a wonderful host.👍

Lovely Weekend Break

Super location - nice apt on a complex with a great pool. Loved sitting on the patio and theres plenty of shade. Great communication with the owner who left a welcome back with reception and allowed us a late checkout which meant a relaxing last day.

We live Playa Blanca

From my initial enquiry to entering the property we found the process super smooth. We were given accurate detailed information from the owner as reception would be closed when we arrived. We were very grateful for the arrival pack of essentials that we weren’t expecting. The villa was clean and we found it fully equipped to self cater as we like to do this.The beds were comfortable and the fans were invaluable as the weather was unusually hot for this time of the year. It’s worth mentioning there’s a charge of 15:50 euros per week to use the safe with a 10 euro refundable deposit. The pool and facilities are clean and plenty of sun beds and parasols are available.

Little bit of paradise

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay...villa 32B..hosted by Tariq who it was nice to meet we were greeted at reception by a really nice lad called Santiago who was extremely pleasant and helpful..we thoroughly enjoyed our week...the only problem being that is was not long enough 😀...we will definitely be returning to Casas del sol next year without a doubt...highly recommended..

Property exactly as shown on the website and in a great little development that was immaculate!

Great property in a great location, so close to bars/restaurants of Playa Blanca but in a wonderful little development that was really well maintained, super quiet and the best shared pool we’ve seen. It was really big, lots of sun loungers and a nice temperature! Owner super helpful and responsive on all matters.

Should have been a great break

The complex and property were lovely however, the whole thing was ruined for us by the major building work that was being carried out on the inside and garden of the attached property, this resulted in considerable noise and dust. Whilst it is understood that this kind of work sometimes needs to be completed people like us who have rented the property next door should be informed and given the opportunity to change the booking, why no one did this is disgraceful. Be warned this work is apparently to last for some time.

Not one cockroach!! As we are quite elderly we need to relax more of the time and there is only so much reading we can do. 32b did not offer English TV and we could not work the dvd player also there is no Wi-Fi, otherwise it is a great little villa.

COCKROACH HOTEL

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at villa 32B. To say how bitterly disappointed we were with the poor standard of the villa is an understatement. 1. Cockroach infestation. We killed over 60 in the fortnight and bought over 4 cans of Raid. They were in the bedroom, bathroom (toothbrush holder), kitchen, kitchen cupboards. 2. The patio door does not close and there is a gap at the bottom even when locked. 3. The windows insecure and are old rickety wood which are difficult to close. 4. A spotlight bulb in the bedroom exploded showering the room with glass. Electrics need overhauling as there are brown smoke lines up the wall above each socket. 5. Hall light smashed shade and an accumulation of bugs in the bottom. 6. No plug in bathroom wash basin. 7. Furniture old and dated. Smashed wine rack. 8. BBQ not cleaned from last occupier 9. Tiling old and tired. Original spec 10. Shower door cheap and nasty and hard to close. 11. Black mould inside shower cubicle and shower base has cracks in it 12. The 'white' internal doors are dirty with fingermarks 13. Awning ripped 14. Handrail outside is loose. Anyone disabled could fall. 15. Sink in kitchen. Plug has been repaired with a nut and bolt which you have to use a knife to try and get it out of the plughole. 16. Lamp on shelf outside, cord cut off and has seen better days 17. Rubber/coir mat to front disintegrating 18. Remote to air-con missing 19. No WiFi in villa. This has become a minimum standard to provide. 20. Old cobwebs above air con unit in lounge. 21. Paper peeling off ceiling in kitchen 22. Plastic plate on wall to left of fridge, stuck up with sticky tape. Overall the holiday was ruined with the badly lacking standards of the property . We have stayed at CDS twice before without ANY issues. Suffice to say this experience has put us off returning. We paid what we feel an excessive amount for this property, for the fortnight, which we feel extortionate for this below standard property.
