The room was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. I had a 2 bedroom apartment in their new building and it was great. It was across the property and not connected to the restaurant and other amenities which was a little inconvenient but we cooked most of our meals so it wasn’t a big deal. They did have a shuttle that would take take guests between the two buildings if you asked them. For the other times “bundle up!” walking across the property at -35 degrees was quite an experience for me. The only thing I think they could improve is to have someone answer the desk phone more. I must have called the front desk 9 times at all times of the day and no one ever answered. It’s possible that they could have been really busy but unlikely that no one was available every time.

The hotel is in a great location, within easy walking distance of downtown and the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre. The room is spacious and comfortable. The hotel offers convenient dining options, either at the restaurant near the lobby or by cooking in the room. The room is well equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, kettle, toaster, as well as dining ware and utensils. The staff were friendly and courteous.

We booked 2x two-bedroom apartment suite for Jan 8–11 and paid both in advance. One suite is for my family and the other one is for my friend's family. But at check-in we were told the suite for my friend's family was no longer available, with no explanation and no apology. My friend was asked to take a smaller room which cost less than what we paid for and zero compensation was offered but the front desk people kept pushing us to speak to the manager the next day, which is unacceptable. After multiple attempts, the only compensation offered was breakfast for the last two days, which does not make up for not receiving the room we paid for. Very poor handling and disappointing service.
