If you don’t need glamour and you’re traveling alone and you don’t mind a dormitory/hostel this hotel is fabulous. It’s clean. It has a kitchen that you can use and keep food in. It has lots of great company with people from all over. It’s very convenient if you’re skiing it’s next door to the lift and also to the train station. I’m afraid of giving it such a great review because I don’t want to be full the next time I go there. The staff is also very friendly and helpful!

Felt more like a hostel: basic room - a bed and a sink; shared restroom, shower, and kitchen (didn't use the latter since it was just a one-day trip). Ski room and lockers were helpful.

This was a great hotel/hostel, it is right across from the train station and at the base of the main street of restaurants/shops. The staff was super friendly and helpful as well. Would highly recommend this place.

Stayed one night here, after 2 nights at the nearby Hotel Parnass. Parnass was much less expensive and a better value. Had a much larger room at Banhof, but unlike Parnass there was no free breakfast (Parnass has a large and excellent breakfast buffet). Also, my shower had a slow drain and very quickly was standing in a couple of inches of water while showering. Otherwise, very comfortable and convenient. Right across the street from the train station, which was especially nice as I left Zermatt the next morning.

One of the bests hostels ever

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in my life. Friendly, super, super clean, accommodating. Check in was a breeze. I had a private room but would definitely stay in a dorm next time. In fact I asked but they were full.
