Hello! We are CUBO'S HOLIDAY HOMES, specialised in holiday accommodations since 2005.



This charming two-storey rural accommodation is perfect for families or groups looking for privacy and comfort in a quiet environment, but close to urban centres such as Alhaurín el Grande. The plot is shared but each dwelling has a private entrance and swimming pool areas that are very well defined to guarantee the privacy of its guests.



Rural accommodation for 8 people, near urban centres such as Alhaurín el Grande and with good road connections to all points of interest in the province of Málaga.



Outside, you will enjoy an elegant garden area with a swimming pool, barbecue and porch, ideal for sunny outdoor lunches while watching the little ones playing in the pool. Additionally, a small auxiliary kitchen facilitates meal organization and storage of utensils.



Inside the house, the ground floor houses a spacious fully equipped kitchen-diner, which connects to the bright living room with Smart TV and views of the garden and swimming pool. This space also includes a teleworking area for those who need to maintain concentration during their stay. On this floor, there is a bedroom with a double bed, wardrobes, and access to a private terrace, as well as a bathroom with a shower tray.



On the upper floor, with attic ceilings, you will find two bedrooms: one with a double bed and dressing room, and another ideal for children with two single beds and a bunk bed. Here you also have a second bathroom with a shower tray. The house has free wifi connection to keep you always connected.

We really enjoyed our stay here for a relaxed week in the autumn sun!

This is a lovely holiday home it's cosy, well decorated with high quality furniture, has a fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful garden with fruit trees (and sweet cats and dogs that come to play and cuddle). The location is close to the central road from Malaga to Alhaurin and you can walk to the restaurants and shops within 10 minutes.

Perfect

Just back from two glorious weeks staying at Villa Lucia, absolutely perfect for a laid back relaxing holiday. Villa is spacious , clean and easy to live in. There were only two of us, and it was ideal. Easy 15 minute walk into town, is if you don't want to hire a car, it's perfect, taxi back from town is 5 euros (bit of a steep hill back from town) . Owners are lovely and collected us from town to take us to the villa. Would be delighted to have the opportunity to return

Beautiful villa

Beautiful villa. Immaculately clean. The host was really lovely and lived on site so made sure we had everything we needed and helped straight away when we had a small problem with the air conditioning. Close, walking distance to Alhaurin. Pool was smaller than we would have liked but it didn’t stop us all from having a wonderful time. Would highly recommend.

although there was a language barrier between ourselves and the hosts, they were very welcoming and accommodating to our late check in. the house was spotless and if we had to reach out for any reason they always responded. the villa itself was private and the surrounding area beautiful. we had adequate cleaning supplies for dishes and laundry. we had enough space to park our car off the road and on the property. the town is a very short walk from the property. we would highly recommend this stay.

Fantastic

We were met by the owner at the designated place and we followed him to the villa where we were met by his family. They showed us around, them speaking hardly any English and us less Spanish but we managed. They had stocked the fridge with milk, cheese, ham , beer and a bottle of red wine, coffee, oil salt and pepper were also supplied which was a nice touch. There are lemon, orange and fig trees in the garden which you can help yourself to. The bedrooms are a good size, one has a walk in wardrobe. The upstairs bathroom is quite small and built in the eaves so mind your head!! There were 6 of us in total, plenty of room for all of us. We all loved the villa, the pool was a little smaller than I expected but it was big enough, it looked lovely when it was lit up at night. The BBQ and outside eating area/kitchen is lovely although it could do with a bit more lighting out there, we struggled a bit when it went dark and had to move up to the house. The villa has a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher (they supplied the dishwasher tablets too). The owners dog came to visit us every day, he is lovely (even my daughter who has pet allergies loved him). He wouldn't come into the villa unless you told him to so not a problem if you're not a dog person, he would just go away. You are walking distance to the town centre where there are loads of restaurants and bars. Malaga is about a 30 minute drive away. I would recommend a trip to Ronda (about an hour away) and Mejas is a must (about 30 mins). I would highly recommend this villa we didn't want to come home.

Pasamos una semana maravillosa en esta villa. Es muy espaciosa, está totalmente equipada y tiene una ubicación excelente: a solo 5-10 minutos a pie de Alhaurín el Grande y a 30 minutos en coche de Málaga. La anfitriona es muy amable y siempre responde rápidamente a cualquier consulta. En general, disfrutamos muchísimo nuestra estancia y sin duda nos encantaría volver

Mooi huis in een mooie omgeving. Erg leuk dorpje met gezellig straatje op loop afstand. Hier zijn meerdere Restaurants, barretjes en andere praktische en leuke winkeltjes. Bij het huis wonen meerdere katten en honden, die regelmatig gezellig langskomen. Vooral de kinderen vonden dit heel leuk! Het huis is goed ingericht, is natuurlijk niet nieuw, maar voor 1,5 week prima in orde. Zwembad is niet verwarmd, ietwat fris voor de tijd van het jaar, maar dat maakte de jongste niks uit. Al met al een goeie tijd gehad.

Het verblijf in het huis was heerlijk. De communicatie was echter slecht. De host reageerde niet/nauwelijks en sprak enkel Spaans. Kon ons daardoor niet goed van dienst zijn. Desondanks hebben we een fijne tijd gehad en genoten van het rustige spaanse huis.

We zijn zeer goed ontvangen, vriendelijk mensen,internet is goed het huis was schoon met alles wat je in een huis nodig hebt zoals wasmachine, oven, koffiezetapparaat enz.Supermarkten en ander winkels zijn op een paar minuten afstand bereikbaar. Nadelen is dat de zwembad veel kleiner is dan op de foto’s is te ziens , en het is helaas geen alleenstaande villa huis want je het te maken met je buren naast je wonen.

La tranquilidad de la zona y la ubicación. Hemos desconectado. Cortinas, persianas, el ruído de la madera de la planta superior a cada paso que se da y la climatizaciòn de un dormitorio. Los propietarios fueron amables, aunque era muy difícil contactarles telefònicamente durante nuestra estancia.

Alhaurin el Grande, l'alternative à 30 min de la Costa del Sol

Le site est magnifique. Nous étions enchantés du décor, des montagnes, des orangers, de la terrasse entourant la maison, surtout que nous y étions pour un mois. Nos hôtes, Teresa et Francisco très accueillants et serviables sans oublier Raël ! Nous gardons un excellent souvenir de notre séjour à Alhaurin ! Et nous en ferons la promotion ainsi que pour Villa Lucia ! Un grand merci tout particulier à Teresa, Muchas gracias, hasta luego!

An interesting villa with great service

The villa was a really interesting mix of styles. It made such a change from the normal 'sterile' villas often available. Clearly the villa was part of a larger family plot and the local contact just lived across the drive which meant easy access to service and queries we had. The villa was tucked away nicely from the main street so was quiet and secluded, but really easy to get into the town and out to the main roads. The villa was very clean and had all the amenities needed.

Nice place but could be a lot better

The initial impression of this place was pretty good. It's beautifully furnished and the outdoor space is really nice. However the owners speak only Spanish, which is fair enough, but it would be helpful if the property management company could leave some info in other languages. Most disappointing is that there was no hint of a welcome pack not even a bottle of water. All we got was a melon in the fridge which looked like it had been left behind by someone else. We have rented many places in Spain and elsewhere and we have always had at least some water and usually a bottle of wine or something. Given the amount we paid I thought this was pretty mean. There's lot to like about this place though. It's in a pretty quiet location but there are 2 restaurants about 3 minutes walk away. The walk into town and lots more restaurants is only about 10-15 minutes. The kitchen is reasonably well equipped and there is a washing machine and a bbq. There is a dishwasher but it's in poor condition so quite frustrating to use. The negatives are that a few things need some attention. Upstairs is all wooden so gets very hot but there is air con in both upstairs bedrooms. The outdoor eating area gets the sun in the morning through to early afternoon so you need to eat breakfast indoors. If there was an awning that would solve the problem. There are also no umbrellas by the pool so nowhere to escape the sun other. We stayed here for a week and to be honest we were glad to leave.

Tolles Landhaus mit absolutem Erholungsfaktor

Wir sind als Familie nach Alhaurin El Grande gereist ... Fünf Erwachsene (anfang dreißig und sechzig Jahre) mit einem Kind (2 Jahre).. Der Kontakt mit der finka per Email war problemlos... Vor Ort haben wir telefonisch (Englisch) einen Treffpunkt verabredet und wurden dann zur finka gebracht... Von da ab war die Kommunikation eher auf spanisch möglich, englisch wurde so gut wie nicht gesprochen aber mit einer Übersetzung's App auf dem Handy und etwas englisch lief das auch gut... Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich, total sympathisch und die ganze Abwicklung einfach sehr entspannt und angenehm... Selten so sympathische Menschen getroffen... Die finka ist super ausgestattet, der Sitzbereich draußen, der Pool und auch der grillbereich waren unsere lieblingsplätze... Die Umgebung ist ruhig aber die finka liegt trotzdem total nah an der Stadt... Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es direkt um die Ecke, ein Lidl ist ca. 15 min mit dem auto entfernt... Das Restaurant Carolina ist eine Minute zu Fuß entfernt... Es hat vor allem etwas außergewöhnliche Speisen, viel mit Fisch und Fleisch und einfach sehr lecker, Preis /Leistung passt absolut ... Alles im allem war es ein super Urlaub und wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen, die Zeit verging viel zu schnell...:)
