Overall the stay was fine but the hotel needs a lot of maintenance. Our outlet in the bathroom was broken, tub had a weird spot in it (wearing), and the hot tub jets were not working and making a horrendous noise. Tried to use the pool but got out when we realized there was a bunch of brown pieces of something floating in it. My hotel in DC cost half the price of this hotel and it was 10x better. Not horrible but not what I expected, nor is it worth the price.

BEWARE of the new revenue stream of paying for parking on site through a separate company. A dishonest addition to the total cost for an overnight stay, and while I do not post very often, a review that I will provide in as many places as possible for travelers to know. To make matters worse, you then begin getting text messages to renew your parking 24 hours later. While each franchisee has a different approach to an individual business model, MARRIOTT should be ashamed of the new tactic.

We received excellent service and our needs were cared for. The hotel's WiFi went on tne fritz on Thursday but was fully restored by Thursday night. The staff was friendly and helpful. When were surprised with parking charges, the manager agreed to waive them. A good experience throughout our stay of more than a week.

This hotel reeked of sewage. The smell never improved. It was so bad that my family and I never took advantage of the free breakfast. The trundle bed was soiled with yellow stains and visible dirt. The staff did nothing to accommodate my family and I to make our stay better. We will never be back.

Quick trip

Easy check in, clean room, although I think I’m starting to prefer rooms without carpet. Be aware!! It’s about $10 per day to park in the hotel lot which is ridiculous as this is not a downtown hotel. I was told it is on the hotel website. I checked the hotel website before booking and if it’s there it’s in a non conspicuous location.
