Overall, it was a horrible experience. The floors were so dirty! Lighten was really bad. Dryers were not working and no sign posted. Hotel is old and needs remodeling. There were so many issues that I encountered and I also witnessed other guest with many issues as I spent a lot of time at the front desk. There were 3 amazing staff that did a great job considering what a bad hotel it was. Those are Tamika from housekeeping, Dorothy and Orlando from the front desk.

Staff was amazing

The front desk staff were all very nice and personable; the breakfast staff was as well. We got one of the queen suites and it was clean and tidy. We were on the 24th floor so we had a great view of downtown. It’s very pretty at night. The hospital is close so if you are a light sleeper it may not be the best location for you. I am normally a light sleeper but the sounds didn’t bother me and I slept well. The only issue that I had was that maintenance never came to check on the ac even though I requested maintenance to look at it for 2 days. Other than that it was a great location. My son and I explored midtown so we did a lot of walking and made a lot of little discoveries. All in all I would stay there again.

- Half a roll of toilet paper upon arrival and no one at desk able to provide a refill. we were left with no toilet paper for 1 out of the 2 days we stayed. -dusty vents and all throughout the room. I have sleep apnea and dust can really hinder my breathing at night making this a dangerous situation. - Dirty silverware and plates at daily breakfast. We had to switch out several plates due to them being dirty and still stacked on the “clean” pile of plates for the breakfast buffet. Silverware was often dirty as well. - the Lobby restroom only had 1 working stall ( toilet not flushing properly) and no soap filled in dispenser/ dead battery on dispensers. I was unable to properly wash my hands. -during check in we had four different families ahead of us complaining about not having things restocked, not having their rooms clean etc. -the pool was closed the entire time we stayed. The pool was dark green and dirty and was “closed for maintenance” which was still closed before we checked out. We paid thinking we would enjoy some time by the pool here.

I recently stayed at the Staybridge Suites in Midtown for an overnight visit, and while the location was incredibly convenient—especially being close to Mercedes-Benz Stadium—unfortunately, the property itself left a lot to be desired. The first room we were assigned had an air conditioning unit that wasn’t functioning properly. Despite being set to 65°F, the temperature never dropped below 77°F, which made the room feel uncomfortably warm and humid. Additionally, the tub was stained, which added to the overall feeling that the room—and possibly the property—could use some serious updates. To their credit, the front desk staff was helpful and moved us to another room. While this second room was slightly cooler at 75°F, it still didn’t provide the level of comfort we would expect from an IHG property. Thankfully, this was just a one-night stay, as anything longer in those conditions would have been difficult to manage. While I appreciated the location and the staff’s willingness to assist, I’m hesitant to return or recommend this location until noticeable improvements are made. I hope to see this property brought up to the standards typically associated with the IHG brand.

I was happy with everything but the person that was handling the breakfast .. we had to many plates on the table and I took them to the back because I didn’t see him .. he came out the back and told me ‘this is me area’ in others words stay out from back here .. so I asked him ‘so do you want me to put the plates on the next table’ .. he told me he would check the tables .. he was rude instead of saying thank you! I also heard him being nasty to another person there .. he told her .. ‘I done told you we don’t have any carry out trays’. Just nasty as heck!

This hotel is the most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed at. There was a banging noise the whole night that kept us awake. It was extremely loud. We tried to call and report the noise but they would pick up and hang up. We had 2 rooms and both rooms were extremely hot and humid. AC was not working. It was honestly cooler outside. The bathtub was sticky and the carpet was disgusting. One of the rooms was filled with hair all over the floor. The pool was packed and the water was dirty. The towels smelled awful. Valet was extremely rude. what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend turned into a stressful stay. The hotel also smelled awful. It smelled like marijuana. Our favorite part was leaving. This hotel should be shut down.

IHG Suites & Crown Hotel Midtown ATL

Was truly disappointed with stay. First off the Hotel was split between two. Basically the Crown Hotel and The IHG Suites. Crown is the Good One and other was terrible. There basically no Flowing AC in room. Rooms were extremely outdated..Break Fast was serves in a small conference center with a small assortment of things. It was just underwhelming to say the least. Its hard to get anyone on the phone for housekeeping etc so def expect to call about 10 times. Me and my Family were extremely disappointed in this hotel.

The front desk staff and valet staff were pleasant, but that’s literally the only positive. The wait to get in was incredibly long, the lobby was closed and we had to walk to another one, the room itself was disgustingly dirty and didn’t have normal hotel amenities like cups, trash can, tissues, etc. Several outlets didn’t work, and a fuse blew and half the room’s power went out. We had to shower and use the bathroom in the dark. The AC didn’t work and the balcony door was not properly sealed, so it ranged from 75-79 degrees in the room the whole time even with the AC on high and set to 64 degrees. The pillows and sheets were stained and smudged with dirt. I paid for a suite with a bedroom and was given a room with two beds, no separate bedroom. At breakfast, there was dirty gunk in my water glass. This place was absolutely disgusting and I will never stay here again.
