The building itself is lovely! However the service in the restaurant is terrible! We had to wait one and a half hours for our lunch and it wasn’t even that good! The waiter was rude and lacking! The rooms are so dated and the shower products seem more for a 2 star hotel than for a five star hotel! The bar in the pool area is not open until 11am, not even on a very busy weekend! I would not go back, ever!

Worst experience in a hotel

Rude staff, service was horrible, food took forever to arrive, waited a long time for order to be taken, kitchen collapsed on Saturday not enough food or staff. This place is poorly ran. Bathroom had a bad smell that didn’t go away, had to find solution myself. Coffee cups were left dirty

The property has a several concerns: 1) Upper level management is extremely rude! They act like this is the only hotel in Barranquilla, and they so confused about that! 2) Not enough staff, you can sit in there patio area for hours and maybe have one drink because of the lack of employees. 3) They don’t fumigate, bug infested hotel. You get bit by mosquitoes all day and night. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO MOVICH BURO 51

This is a really gorgeous hotel. Large rooms, comfortable beds, and the central courtyard surrounding the pool is really a beautiful, unique space. The price, less than 80 bucks a night, is outstanding for a building like this. However, the food and service are not particularly good. Freddy was a great waiter and the gals in the spa were wonderful but in general staff was not very attentive. Great value for the price but lots of room for improvement in staff training.

Got the Executive Suite. 1. Bathroom flooded while taking a shower as the water pressure is too much for the drain so it goes over the half inch lip on the shower door. Surprise! Opened the door and the entire bathroom is flooded within a 3-4 minute shower. 2. Found out ‘for the first time’ after many calls that the front desk does not answer the phone. Used all Towels and that wasn’t enough. Okay so the AC doesn’t work in the Executive Suite. It’s 72.5 degrees/ 22.5 degrees Celsius in the room and someone finally came up at 12:15am. Changed the thermostats and displays 2 times over 30-40 minutes. Said it was working but when I woke up it was 77 degrees F/25 degrees Celsius. 3. Degrees ant to wash my face before breakfast so turn on the hot water while it gets warm I lather up, then it’s nice and hot so I go to turn on the cold water and SURPRISE, no cold water. Now the water is BOILING hot so I can’t wash off the soap. I go to the shower. No cold water at all. Dry as a bone like the sink. Jacuzzi same thing. 4. So I call front desk AGAIN many times but no one answers. Face is burning and I am not happy at all, sweating in this 77 degree hot “suite”! But after 30 minutes someone did call and say they see I called, but the water pump broke. Sorry about that. When I told reception upon checking out about the flooding shower , no AC, no cold water, and I am on my way to the airport dripping in sweat from my hot room, his reply is: you have a $9 bill at the bar to pay

This Hotel makes you feel safe as soon as you pull on the property. Beautiful inside and out with a huge pool. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, whatever you need. The rooms, with tall ceilings, are very comfortable & quite clean. This was my first time staying here but it won’t be my last.

Service at the pool bar was horrible. They were not attentive and when they finally took our order it took 20 mins to bring our drinks. We just order 3 six packs of local beer from Rappi and put it in a cooler and sat at a table in front of the bar. Food was not impressive. The facilities are beautiful and well kept.
