We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The breakfast was great and really good. Public transportation was across the street and very close to the hotel. Our room had a great view of the city and the Bern Expo. The staff were all friendly, and very helpful. Highly recommend this place. Definitely when we are visiting Bern we will stay here again. Thank you so much!!!

Very comfortable clean hotel in great location

Stayed two nights with family. Everything was clean and we had tea coffee in the room. The only strange thing was that the toilet was separate to the shower and sink so you had to go to the toilet then come out and wash your hands in the shower room. I don't know how this arrangement would suit anyone, are they expecting people not to wash their hands after using the toilet? Didn't expect this from novotel but otherwise we had an amazing stay. There's ample parking on site, you do have to pay extra for it though. It's close to transport links and not far from any of the restaurants and sites we went to. It was absolutely freezing with heavy fog the whole time we were there but the room was always cosy and hot water available, no issues. We didn't eat anything at the hotel so cannot comment on it but the dining and reception areas downstairs have very nice decor and ambience. Check in and check out was a breeze and all staff were very helpful and professional. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again if I visit Bern again.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The hotel was really nice. The room was comfortable, and we got complimentary items from the minibar the whole stay. I don’t know if that’s standard, but we enjoyed it. Breakfast was delicious! They have a really nice buffet. It’s not cheap, but it was really good. We were told restaurant is closed on the weekends, which was surprising. The location is really convenient. There is a bus and tram stop right outside, which makes it easy to get anywhere, and you get a code from the front desk that lets you ride the buses and trams in Bern for free through the Bern Welcome app. The convention center and arena are across the street, so if you are going to an event there, it’s a great spot at which to stay. It wasn’t that long of a bus/train ride from the train station in Bern, either. I definitely would stay here again!
