Bishop is a dump of a town in most respects and this Motel 6 is not much better. It is average which is NOT a bad rating, it is what it is. Do expect hair on the bedding every time you stay, mold in the showers area, dirty walls and semi clean floors. If you're ok with this and the price is under $110 then this is the place. (This motel 6 SHOULD NEVER BE OVER $110, I do not care if it is Christmas day). Staff is great Jocelyn and Blanca are very nice every time we have stayed here. If you stay extra days and you want the room cleaned again, they get it done. There was blood on bathroom floor I asked the room to be cleaned but it was still after the cleaning (from previous guest). However, the room was remade with new bedding and trash emptied. People live on property which is weird and a bit uncomfortable, and you may see people sleeping in their cars in the morning. However, the grounds are kept up very nice (shrubs, etc). The pool is very clean for an outdoor pool but cold. Ice machine is outside by the office and works great. Each room has a microwave, refrigerator and a tiny tv. I will definitely stay here again; I just hope that the owner of the Motel gets it together better and better each time.

I was initially impressed. Clean floors and no dingy carpet. Updated and simple but felt clean. Then we went to bed and heard all the neighbors plumbing everytime they showered/used toilet. This would have been tolerable but the extreme noise from upstairs neighbors made the night miserable until they called it a night around midnight. It actually sounded like elephants stomping and pacing around upstairs and dropping bricks. Quite jarring and jolting when trying to drift off into sleep. I understand this is not the fault of the hotel so I would stay again and test my luck that neighboring rooms more considerate of their neighbors and respected quiet hours. Front desk associate was very friendly and kind.

The room was spacious & clean. We booked 2 rooms, one of which had problems in toilet flushing, and the key card could not open the door in spite of 3 attempts of readjustments by the front-desk staff. In the end she had to open the door with a metal key.

Easy check in and pleasant staff. This is a go to place for 1 night to stay. Yes it is a motel 6 with older fixtures slow internet and little tvs. But there is a fridge and microwave. Do expect beat up flooring and mold in the showers.

Homeless walking near our door and panhandling for money, food. Very sad not conducive to a vacation. Very noisy next door , no shampoo, no pole to hang clothes on! Curtains were falling off the window?? Only one wash cloth? Definitely not a 5 star? Someone should’ve stayed here before giving a review.

Parking was terrible and pet fee was ridiculous for no place to walk or take dogs to pee and what they did have was not safe. Room was okay but not clean enough to have been charged and extra cleaning fee for pet.
