We are conveniently located Five miles from historic Blue Ridge shopping and recreation. Two Primaries with comfortable King beds. Warm up by the fire pit and make some s'mores. I Enjoy sitting on the beautiful large deck. Big Star Cabin is a place to Relax and get away from the Daily Grind. A security camera, tree mounted capturing the driveway and front door exists for safeguards.

Host was very responsive and helpful. House was fantastic... nice-sized rooms with king-size beds. Great master bathroom with walk-in shower. The view from the deck was worth the rental alone. I would rent this home again in an instant.

The host took extra measures to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable! The layout of the home and all the amenities were so home-y. We enjoyed our time around the fire pit (wood provided), sitting on the porch, and cooking breakfast in the kitchen! It was perfect and we can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic experience--loved this place. Wonderful setting, fire pit, hot tub, comfortable king beds, and exceptionally well-provisioned and nice kitchen. This is my first getaway in 3 years and like a honeymoon for us as we didn't get to have one after we got married. This vacation was everything for us! From a smooth check in process to our check out. Everything was so organized which I love! So grateful we got to use Paula and her husband's cabin. It was so clean and they have thought about everything. There's really no reason to leave unless you want to check out downtown Blue Ridge. It's peaceful so we got relax. We got to see the fireworks on fourth of July from the porch, which was a bonus. Everything is conveniently close as well! We decided that we will make BigStar our place to go to every year. You won't regret renting this little slice of heaven. The most beautiful view as well. Paula is so responsive too! Thank you both from the bottom of our hearts, we're truly grateful!

Beautiful Cabin

We had a great stay! The view was beautiful. The rental felt very secluded. We liked the privacy. It was exactly as described except it seemed a bit larger than the photos. It was very close to BlueRidge and convenient to stores. We saw plenty of wildlife and got some fishing in at a local spot. The only negative was the yard needed some maintenance. It looked as if no one had mowed the grass for awhile so we didn’t attempt to use the fire pit area due to the high grass. Other than that,we plan to come stay here again!

This is my second time staying at this cabin and I will definitely go back numerous times. It is beautiful great location, quiet nature all around and has incredible kitchen dishes, and cooking utensils. It’s just stacked.
