The room itself was fine. It was not clear to me that there was a shared bathroom and kitchen area. This is more like a hostel than a hotel room.

I stayed in a private suite with bunk beds and a kitchenette. The room had a coffee pot, blender, dishes, utensils, and a dish drying rack. It had everything we would need, but I didn’t actually prepare anything. I booked this room for the location and economical price. I loved the layout, with the love seat and tv in separate space away from the bed. I loved the ceiling fan!

Great location. Not great bathrooms.

The location was perfect. Right across from the commons. Right in the middle of all the freedom trail stops. The room itself was very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The only thing I did not like was the shared bathrooms. There's some rusty spots, peeling wallpaper and they smelled very humid and musty. The fan in the closest bathroom was not working. You have to share with other people who might not wipe stuff down. So there was hairballs on the floor and loogies in the sink. So yeah...I spent as little time as possible in there. The only thing that makes this doable is that there are a couple bathrooms on the floor. So I suppose you can look for the cleanest one. But overall...if you are gonna spend most of your day out...this was a great location for a great price.

I knew what to expect from the description and reviews. I was pleased with it considering the price. The bathroom could use a little more regular attention and the water alternates from hot to cold in a pretty regular pattern, but look, it was clean enough and felt safe. I would recommend it to adults. I would not take kids there bc of the shared bath, but overall I was pleased.

The location is perfect. Our room was clean and comfortable. The scariest part of the stay is the shared bathroom. I would recommend bringing any disinfecting wipes because other guests can be gross and can’t clean up after themselves. The building could use some renovation. Overall I would rate my stay a 7/10.

Ill start with the positives - great location! Within a minute of Boston common, surrounded by shops, cafes, theatres and train stations. There was a full length mirror (if thats important to you). Has good amenities, fridge, iron, cutlery microwave....And overall it was pretty clean! Negatives- there is no front desk, they send you the check in codes via email only after you have sent them photo ID. Problem is, they sent us the request for ID the day of check in when we were on a 7hr flight from Edinburgh so we were stood on the street trying to call the reservations team. The room was quite shabby - fixtures falling off, no handles on cupboards, tv remote not working. The street the hotel is on is incredibly loud, even earplugs dont keep out the noise. There was a fan in our room and they had placed the vent out one of the windows so the window cant close properly and just filled the gap with a piece of thin plastic and duct tape, did not help with trying to keep noise out. Even though it was pretty cheap, i would not stay here again
