We had a really lovely stay. The welcome on arrival was really nice and swift, we headed up to our room after checking in the car and putting it on charge. The rapid chargers were exactly that. Or room was clean, with fresh linen and towels. The coffee was lovely and the midnight complimentary snacks were definitely enjoyed. The check out was quick and easy. The only let down was breakfast. We arrived an hour before breakfast finished. There were very little in the way of options due to there being no bacon, fried eggs and hash browns. The sausages were only cooked on one side. The scrambled eggs were dry and hard. The tomatoes had beans in them and I'm allergic. After 10-15 minutes someone brought some bits out. There were no croissants left or other pastries. I ended up having a bowl of cornflakes to gain some nourishment before our journey home. The bacon and sausages were tasteless. The fried eggs were snotty. It was just disappointing. I would suggest larger juice jugs. As they were empty after 4 people filled small glasses. It was just disappointing and as the last impression, left a lasting impression. Thank you to all the staff though, who were all really friendly.

Bed very comfy and large, room clean, restaurant is good food and service. I just can’t bear the check-in, the self-sign in feels impersonal, the key card machine never works for me and then you have to go to another machine to pay for parking.

Bar was well stocked, rooms were clean, staff were good. The only downside was that the room we were allocated outside in the corridor was a set of doors these were extremely noisy as people didn’t close them quietly also the doors catch on each other when opening them as they are a tight fit this was also causing a loud noise.

Breakfast finr for £10. Shame about the drunken visitor having a wee next to our car and the staff not really doing anything about it until much later. And only one staff saying sorry you had to see that but nothing else was said to us.

The room was clean, the staff was very friendly … the company should be proud of them … the only slight negative was the requirement to pay £1.00 by a card in case I ordered at the bar or in my room … I didn’t intend to do either so it seemed needless to ask and as I was staying for an event on the Saturday ( I was there to set up) it was a shame I had to pay for car parking … but apart from that, my stay was a 9.9 out of 10.

Staff were very friendly. The hotel was extremely busy with functions, including a wedding and boxing event. There was a long queue to check in. The room was okay, but no cofee and tea was left in the room. It was also a little noisy as some drunk guests got back in the night.

The room looked as though someone had used the toilet. The hand soap in the washbasin and the shower was empty. I reported it to reception and they said they would sort it. They didn’t! The drain to the shower and the washbasin appeared to be blocked. Again it was reported. The rest of the room was clean and tidy and in good condition
