Free breakfast was advertised - but not available - said they would refund us $10 but did not! No coffee maker in room or anywhere at all. No alarm clock in room. Wall in the bathroom needed washing badly. Makes you wonder what else was unclean - never again!

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! Disgusting room, stained sheets, stained comforters, even the chair was gross. No breakfast as advertised, the entire hotel reeked of weed. Constand noise all night. Arrived late at night and it was freezing outside, otherwise I would have slept in my car. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in, and I've stayed in some shady places.

Staff were prompt and helpful, room was clean enough but pretty worn out; stains, chipped paint, etc. One bed had old cigarette burns in the sheets. Still much better than many of the similarly priced options in town.

While the Wagon Wheel room was clean, the property was very run down. All the window seals have failed, and our window had a full length crack. The sink and tub finishes were worn. Location was good and we were able to walk to a nearby restaurant. I expect the high cost had to do with the fall leaf-peepers than the value we had in relation to the property.

My wife called the place a "dump." On arrival at 8:30, no one was in the office. Key was placed in a box outside. Carpets and furniture were worn and dirty. Worst place I can remember staying in a long time.

This hotel is disgusting. Dirty mattresses in the hall. It reeked of cigarette and pot smoke. Windows open that don’t lock. I felt deeply unsafe as a solo female traveler. I slept in all my clothes because the floor was so dirty I didn’t want my skin touching the rug or the bed. The bed spread had cigarette burns. I went to a local gym in the morning so I didn’t have to shower at the hotel. Do not book here. It was disgusting.

The Covered Bridge Inn is a bad place to stay. The hotel host was nice but provided no info about the hotel. The hotel is run down and the grounds is dirty with cigarette butts everywhere and the lobby smells of pot and cigarettes. I booked a non smoking room which is on the second floor but the entire floor and room smelt of cigarettes. There is no elevator so you have to drag your bags up the stairs. The carpet is dirty, chair is stained, the drapes were dirty, and all smelled of cigarettes. It had a mini microwave & coffee pot which I didn’t use but the mini-fridge worked! The bed was hard and uncomfortable, the tv had no movie channels, but there was free WiFi. The shower had pink dirt or mold, but the water pressure was OK. It is the least expensive hotel in the area so if you don’t mind a run down place smelling of cigarettes you can try it; I DO NOT recommend this hotel, and don’t understand how it got a high 8 star rating.
