Hotel is in a very good spot and the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was very dated and worn, not the standard you would expect from Ibis. We got it pretty cheap so just got on with it but anymore than 50 quid a night would be absolute robbery here. Location is perfect but come on ibis give the place a little love

Dreadful night sleep due to plumbing issues. Every time anyone flushed a toilet or had a shower on the floors above we were subjected to huge water whooshing noise in our room. This occurred all night long . Shower was not safe could easily scald yourself. Hotel staff not interested with these problems Would not recommend

The room was very tired and in need of a refurb. The bathroom was especially old and tired. The aircon unit was very noisy and constantly made a “draining” noise randomly throughout the night. There was a notice stating towels we would like to be changed needed to be put on the bathroom floor which we did but this was still on the floor when returned to the room. Luckily only a hand towel. We had to go to reception every evening when returning to get clean cups and tea tray refills e.g coffee sachets etc. as these were never changed or restocked even though we were there for 3 nights. The toilet flush sometimes constantly ran and the flush button had to be pressed numerous times to get this to stop otherwise it would have continuously ran. Noise from staff/cleaners banging and making loud noises from extremely early hours which kept waking us.

A very good stay apart from the room being a bit cold and a step in and out of the bathroom which was awkward in the night for someone with poor mobility. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good.
