Very enjoyable stay. I fee like traveling back in history. The same time I had very comfortable room and wonderfully bed. Quiet and peaceful.

Architectural Gem in Central location

Great location, easy to get to other perhaps more colorful areas of the city. Close to the airport for domestic flights. Great bed. Clean rooms. Stylish Art Deco interiors and exteriors. Small gym. Helpful, friendly staff. Good breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is located 3 blocks from the presidential place and the adjacent green spaces. The hotel itself is quiet. There is usually security at the door. The front desk staff are very helpful. For example in securing taxi's that will take credit card payment (which is not always possible) and telling us the cost (beware of cab scams!). Our room was a good size. The lounge was beautiful we opted to eat light meals there a couple of times and were very pleased with the food.

Great location. Easy to walk to the main attractions in Buenos Aires. Rooms are clean. Bed was not super comfortable. It seemed to be 2 beds pushed together so there was an uncomfortable spot in the middle. The room could use usb plugs. Rooms were quiet. Staff were excellent.

Hotel is lovely. Not one thing to complain about but it is off the beaten path. However, Uber driver was always at hotel in less than 5 minutes if we couldn’t walk to restaurants.

Temper your expectations

I booked this stay because of the Savoy brand but this is far from the “Savoy” hotel that I know. The building is old and floors are creaky but that’s ok, what I’m dead was the fact that in this day and age, they don’t provide a coffee machine in the room so every night, I have to order tea or go down to the lobby to buy tea. We paid for breakfast as part of our package but after a couple days we gave up on it, the selection was not great and it was same thing day in day out; hard to eat for 10 days straight.

The restaurant bartenders were great. Room was spacious with decent air conditioning. Walkable to food and sites. Had to request multiple times that they refill the mini fridge. We also had issues with are room card keys.

This hotel is quite old, built in 1910. It is well preserved however, and as you walk through it you can imagine how elegant it must have once been. It is walking distance from most of the tourist sites in Recoleta. The staff at the front desk is superb. They are knowledgeable about Buenos Aires and happily help you plan your day. We stayed in one of the premium corner rooms. Although more expensive, those rooms are enormous with high ceilings, king beds, a sofa bed and a large writing desk. It was nice having a large window access to a balcony. The bathroom has been modernized and is spacious. The breakfast buffet is extensive, but other than the fresh fruit, coffee and yogurt, was nothing special. There is sufficient seating for many guests. We would happily stay at the Savoy again.
