To much noise

We arrived late after a 12 hour drive. We were unable to check in and had to wait almost 15min for a member of staff to turn up. He was kind and helpful. On the way to our room we noticed a large patch of carpet that was lose in places. It was taped down and just looked odd. Once in our room we went straight to bed only to be woken by the most awful sound of rushing water. This was caused by the person in the room above having a shower. The noise went on for 15min. Then we were woken a number of times by doors opening and closing in the corridor. Its the worst night we have ever experienced.

View from the bedroom was spectacular (room 201). Room was very clean and spacious. Location was perfect to visit Banff and Lake Louise one day.

Rundown old property/motel with below average amenities and appliance. Still uses old metal keys to access room with just 1 key. Not worth taking a photo. There are other better properties for similar price in the area.

Employees were friendly and capable. The walls and floor allow alot of noise to transfer from each room. Strong air freshener odor, appearance of flood damage from a few rooms, probably why the air freshener. Carpet rippled on the floor and a big piece taped to the floor in the hall where possible water damage was.

We stayed in the Mountain View Double Queen room and had a great experience. Even though we didn't have an early check-in reservation, the staff was very accommodating and made sure we were comfortable. The room and washroom were clean, and the space was decent for the price. Overall, I would recommend Mountain View Inn to friends for a comfortable and affordable stay.

The room was clean, but the lack of noise insulation was noticeable, as we could clearly hear conversations from neighboring rooms—something that contradicts the hotel's noise policy. Additionally, the manual keys feel outdated and could use an upgrade.

We were very pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and quiet and clean and just pleasant this place to stay at. It’s not a big place but it’s just right and the parking was convenient. The lady at the front desk is excellent.
