We ended up checking out early and moving to another spot. The smell coming out of the bathrooms in the hotel room was terrible, they wouldn’t provide towels for the pool without signing a waiver and putting down an additional deposit.

HORRIBLE RUDE FRONT DESK STAFF! WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN! I total understand why it was so cheap. The only thing I can say was good was the Bar at the Pool. I wonder if the owner knows how the staff treats the quest??

The worse front desk staff ever. I wanted to stay an extra night and went to front desk to pay and was told I had to do it online which I did. The next day I had to check out and wait 3 hours to check into another room. Asked for a Manager and he told me OH Well. So I had to sit outside in the hot sun with no water or even sorry. What happen to customer service? If I was the owner, I would really check on how the staff treats the guest.

Messages to Locals: this would not be the place for you. Front desk does not have the best customer service for locals, when going to property pool there are wrist bands given to locals only so they can identify who are going into the pool or not. None is given to the tourists just Belizeans. So they can monitor you if you. Lets say there are guests

Tropical stay in Belize

Simple, clean cabin with comfortable beds, good AC, good lighting, functional and clean bathroom, a safe in the room, hot water, a fridge and coffee maker. The staff let me use their water cooker. Friendly and helpful staff for questions about the island and tours. Great pool and great location at the end of the main strip, so close to everything. Towels available for the pool area. Bring or buy your own water. We would definitely stay here again.

Pool area had a nice breeze. Pool loungers are very uncomfortable with no cushions. No fridge in room as shown in photo but was able to "rent" one for extra $. Location was good, centralized. Staff was friendly. Door to room had large gap at bottom & needed other repairs. No place to put/keep toiletries in shower. Floor transition from room to bathroom was not level & could cause injury - need threshold installed. Air con worked great.

Lovely property right on the beach with a swim up pool bar, so the best of both worlds for beach and pool. The hotel run excursions too, which was a huge bonus and the snorkelling trip was absolutely fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed it and I would definitely recommend. Very pleased with our stay here.

We enjoyed the property. The pool and swim up were great. The rooms were clean and we had warm showers. The service at the restaurant was slow. We liked the location and the island its self if very walkable. We weren't able to get a refund for the one night we missed due to circumstances beyond our control (flight delayed). The staff were helpful but a HUGE shoutout to Brian and Henry. They both were amazing and really are the ones who made our stay memorable! Not only did Henry help plan our activities in Caye Caulker but helped us out for our trip to South Belize!

The property is beautiful, pool, ocean view, bar and restaurant and staff 10/10. However the room is a 2/10. It smelled horrible loud banging noises ALL night bed is not comfortable at all. Our door had a huge gap under it and bugs filled our room. The cabins need a serious update.

I had a great stay at Tropical Paradise Hotel. It’s in a great location. The entire island is walkable so it’s easy to get around from the hotel. It’s also in a quiet area. The room was great for what I needed. A/C worked great and it was clean. The staff is awesome, especially Henry. He helped me with everything I needed and had great recommendations. I would definitely stay here again.

This was good value for the money, close to the ferry, very safe, clean, wifi worked, on the water, pool was nice. It was a little noisy had a spring break feel outside of the property - but that's what I would expect since we went during spring break - the north side of the caye caulker is more quite. This is walking distance to restarants, stores and the dive center. Friendly staff.
