Excellent location!

Excellent location and spacious rooms. Just steps to the park, river, and Target. The room and bedding were overall clean. The staff was very responsive and helpful when a cigarette smoke smell seeped into my room. They quickly helped me switch. The only "downside" was the downtown noise from traffic which can't be avoided given the location.

Ice machine on our floor didn’t produce ice, some cleanliness issues such as better cleaning of the toilet in our room and it had problems flushing often. The lights only lit under one bed not both. When we requested a certain amount of towels, wash cloths and hand towels but writing a note with the quantity of each, often we didn’t get what we asked for. The photos pertaining to this room before booking were misleading. We were convinced in getting a bathroom with a longer counter top but when we checked in it was half the size. Then was told it was a deluxe room but again, the photos were part of the room we booked. Overall average, I don’t think I would stay here again unless it was a matter of not finding a better room/hotel. Sorry just my honest feedback

I'm not sure why there was negative reviews about this hotel. This hotel was great! It's close to Michigan avenue, it's got some restaurants and bars nearby, it's got a very good mix of old and new. We would stay here anytime.
