Great concept for travelling families - we had a suite with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and a living room with pull out sofa bed. The sofa and chair were vinyl with hardly any cushioning and were very uncomfortable. The pull out sofa bed was thin and stained. The kitchen was decent and well equipped. All the walls in the entire suite were faded and full of scuff marks and stains and felt dirty. The carpeting had multiple large stains on it. The dining table looked like it was made of scrap material and had been repaired multiple times. Also, a large garbage can that was full was placed 2 feet outside of our only entry door - YUCK!! This place, at least our area, is in desperate need of some updating and TLC!!!

We arrived after a cold snap, and the first room they gave us smelled of sewer gas, possibly due to a frozen pipe issue? We'll, the front desk was amazing about this, giving us a new room without issue while they looked into the problem. New room smelled great, and breakfast was amazing! Do recommend.

I really like this Sonesta. Over the past year and a half, I have stayed here on various occasions, including for work-from-home getaways, date nights with my husband, a slumber party for my daughter's birthday, and simply to take a break from the daily routine of motherhood. This Sonesta is always clean, reliable, and the staff is courteous and professional.

Cannot review this property due to the cancellation of my reservation, found out after traveling to have the front desk tell me that the reservation has been cancelled by his manager. Biggest problem is that the hotel did not cancel thru Expedia which left up to me to get me $ back. Very dishonest company

The body wash & shampoo containers were empty. About 3 sheets of toilet paper on the roll. There were no dishes or pots and pans available. We left our room to return and someone put dishes in our room. The internet was not working, had to be connected to the VIP internet. The telephone was not working and each time we contact the office with an issue, via our telephone, we were to come to the office to get what we need. So they wanted us to walk back & forth in the snow storm. This was a terrible experience, and I'll never consider this location again. I stayed at the lombard location, a few times and it was a great stay, each time. I was told that the manager will call, still have not received a call.

Our room was clean, there was chipping paint in every room. We requested rooms next door to each other. I was told by J that they would be together, but when we got there that wasn't the case. Both bathrooms was out of the hand soap. It rained and there were wet leaves around the property for two days.

Check in and out was easy. Breakfast buffet was a good selection. Many kitchen amenities in the room. Room was generally clean. Could use some fresh paint and a vent cleaning. The little shoppe offers many snacks and other items for purchase if needed.
