Large covered terrace giving shade in the afternoon and evening with dining table and sofas. more dining tables for eating in the sun. 3 bedrooms one en suite with walk in shower and one full bathroom. Air conditioning in all bedrooms and lounge with mosquito screens on all windows. The modern kitchen has all you will need. Plenty of books and games.

What a lovely property Villa Madrid

What a lovely property Villa Madrid, great location within easy reach of Ronda, Puerto Banys and we even went as far a Gibralter. The Villa has everything you need, a great pool, fantastic outdoor area with the town of Coin just a short drive away or a 25 minute walk if you feel up to it. Trefor and Amanda have catered for all your needs from a fantadtic BBQ area for those days staying at the Villa to a book collection for you to use for those days around the pool and the lovely touch of a welcome hamper on arrival.I can not recommend Villa Madrid enough, 5 stars.

Villa was lovely, as described. Plenty of crockery, glasses, books etc etc The plot was much bigger than expected and totally private The pool was fantastic and we’d loved the basketball hoop! Communication with Trefor (owner) was always speedy, Tony & Gaynor are really nice and only 5 minutes away from villa to help if needed

Amazing Villa

The villa is superb. Its an idyllic location hidden away on the outskirts of Coin, close enough to walk into town but far enough to be away from it all. The pool is divine and the kids played in it constantly. The area is not very touristy so it feels like real Spain but you can access touristy areas easily within reach. We went to Mijas, Puerto Benas and to a few local beaches. But we returned happily to the villa for some peace and quiet and hardly left the place. The villa has everything you could possibly need. Every boardgame the kids would ever want to play and lots of stuff for the pool. There are loads of books too. There are more beach/bathroom towels than I have ever seen in my life! We will be back for sure. It took us a while with Covid to actually get here but it was worth the wait. Communication is easy and quick with Trefor - very helpful. We made very happy memories thank you.

Great location, host & Villa

We're just back after spending 10 days here, nowhere near enough! We will definitely be back hopefully in the near future. Everything about the place and the whole experience was spot on, couldn't fault the villa, its location or the host. Extremely Pleasant Stay

We have rebooked already which should say it all! Trefor was great at commuincating with us and everything was very clean and tidy when we arrived. There had been some storms and a lot of effort had gone into ensuring everything was ready for us. The location itself is fantastic and shops are a short car journey away. We only ventured to the beach once and as we were prefectly comfortable with the pool and the large open space. We have a 2 and 4 year old and they were happy to be in and out of the pool all day. It's one of those places you hesitate to recommend too much in case you can never get a booking again!

Exceptional villa with beautiful views and pool

We had an amazing family holiday at Villa Madrid. The villa is located in an elevated position allowing for beautiful panoramic views across Coin and the mountains, you can enjoy both the sunrise and sunset from the garden. All the comments written previously about the property are absolutely true - communication with Trefor was excellent and he is very genuine in his approach; the property is spotless and there is everything you could ever need to make for a stress-free holiday (the welcome pack is much appreciated after a late arrival too); the pool is incredible, very large and warm and kept the child occupied all day! On this occasion we weren't able to explore the local area but would love to return and try some of the local hiking trails. Although the villa feels really private you are very close to amenities such as big supermarkets and the drive to Malaga airport is very easy. This property is a real gem and we genuinely hope to return soon.

Wonderful villa

This villa has the wow factor the moment you arrive. Beautiful high ceilings make the property feel spacious, the outside area is perfect for relaxing. Plenty of dining and seating areas for the whole family, and gates to keep the pool area safe with smaller children. Communication was fantastic throughout, making for an absolutely fantastic stay. A perfect getaway

I’d honestly move here if I could. The property is lovely, the photos don’t do it justice. The heated pool is magic especially out of season when things are a little cooler. We really appreciate the thoughtful touches like an abundance of towels, pool toys, fully stocked kitchen. This was our second visit and I doubt it will be our last. Thanks to the lovely hosts for sharing their beautiful home with us.

Very well equipped, well-maintained villa

Everything about this villa far outweighed our expectations - and that's saying something because we have rented villas in many different locations. The only thing we needed to add to make our vacation wonderful was food - and you even started us off with a nice welcome basket. We also were very happy to see the selection of condiments, tea, coffee, etc that was there. I think it is safe to say that this villa had the best equipped kitchen we've experienced - even had paper towels, and cling wrap and lots of storage containers. We only had to buy our main food supplies. A welcome change. We found everything we needed (thanks also for the clear instructions posted around the villa). We could also tell that cleanliness and attention to detail were important to the owners. We loved the layout, the amenities, the pool, the many outside sitting areas and chairs, the amount of outside space, the privacy of the outdoor spaces and the relatively short distances to visit many interesting places. We found that the photos did not do the interior furnishings and layout justice. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Finally, the owner Trefor was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had.

Secluded and peaceful villa with stunning views

Wow! We've just enjoyed a fantastic family holiday at Villa Madrid. The setting and views are spectacular, and the wonderful heated pool and villa were perfect for our family's needs. It was our first time abroad with our special needs teenage daughter and we couldn't have chosen a better place. The sun shone, the cockerels crowed (but not that loudly), the wine flowed, the fridge dispensed ice(!), and we all had a thoroughly lovely and relaxing time. We've never met the owner Trefor, but feel like we know him. He responded quickly to all our questions via email and was incredibly helpful. The villa is very well-equipped (I've never seen so many towels) and it's a real home from home. We loved exploring Coin, the nearest town. It feels like you're getting to know the 'real Spain' as it's not touristy and is off the beaten track. We did go to the beach at Cala Mijas one day, but couldn't wait to get back to Villa Madrid, our haven in the hills.

An excellent villa

We were absolutely blown away by this Villa. If there was 7 stars that’s the rating that we would give this villa. It was absolutely amazing. Beautifully decorated with lovely furnishings throughout. Spotlessly clean and full of everything that you could possibly want from a wii and tv in the 3rd bedroom to games, books, dvds, amazon prime on the lounge tv. Ice maker and cold water plumbed into the fridge. Everything that you could possibly need in the kitchen. A pool with every inflatable that you would ever need and lovely outside furniture and a large bbq. We had a fantastic holiday and can’t wait to visit again. Trefor was always st the end of the phone for any problems or queries. Get booking now and you will not be disappointed.

Glorious Property

This is a stunning villa, with everything possible to ensure a wonderful holiday. A brilliant location to explore the area, or just relax by the beautiful pool. Coin is a lovely town with plenty of shops and restaurants. The villa is like a home from home with all that you need - and then some! We have never stayed in anywhere so well equipped before, and the welcome pack is a really lovely touch. One of the many highlights is sitting on the comfy outdoor sofa watching the sunrise over the town and the mountains. The views are spectacular at anytime of day but this is just a little bit magical.

Absolutely Fabulous

This is a just a beautiful Villa with stunning views. We were a family of 5 and found the Villa so very comfortable, spacious and so easy to live in. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. There is a good solid barbecue outside and the pool is a good size to have a serious swim or just have fun in. There are restaurants and bars within walking distance (about 20 minute walk) and the city of Malaga is only half an hour away in the car. We really had a fantastic week.
