Front desk staff looked unkept - checked in. The room was spacious and ok. I checked the ice bucket and it had candy and candies rappers. Took it to the front desk and the manager took it and washed it out and gave it back to me. The next incident was that the electrical power went out at approximately 5 Am but after waiting a half-hour nothing happened. We went downstairs and the front desk staff said power went out due to weather. They did not have any contingency plan for breakfast. ( We are supposed to get breakfast for our Stay but they didn't even have a bottle of water to gave anyone. I saw some elderly guest in the breakfast are and not dry food or fruits were provided. I called around and they Hyatt which was 5-7 minutes away had Power because they had a generator. Booked the Hyatt because I had a conference to attend and the room was dark and nothing was provide to the me. I went to the front desk the agent said that I would get a full refund. I make sure to tell her to check me out she said yes. If happens that I leave my laptop in the room and I want to pick it up .upon arrival I pick up the laptop and I asked the manager about the refund she said the manager side that the owner of the property said they will not give me a full refund because it was an act of God. I Found out from Lay Texan that almost all homes has a generator because of the weather conditions here I told the manager that even Third world countries have generator on their property.

Had a bad tornado in Grand Prairie Texas, they had no generator! So as I was showering electric went out water went cold. Locked out of room 3hs, electric off 14 hrs of my stay. Food in mini refrigerator went bad, there wasn’t hot breakfast or cold
