Staff was courteous. Parking was easy. Room/suite was funky. The room was clean and neat. Room service was good, not great. Decent fitness center. It's not in the greatest part of town, but I never felt unsafe.

The room was bizarre. Creepy staircase photos on the wall. Picture frame and paint brush in the ceiling and the carpet said sleep and death over and over.

I asked the front desk 3 times over the course of 3 days to have someone check the mini fridge in my room as it was no longer working, but it was never addressed. At one point during my stay, I had a housekeeper walk into my room unannounced as I was changing shirts. She apologized stating she went to the wrong room, but I was already annoyed at the lack of awareness to double check the room number or even knock on the door.

This property leaves a lot to be desired, especially considering there are better quality hotels that cost less. For example, no business center, no microwave anywhere in the building. So if you order room service and need it heated up again, it isn’t possible. The bed was not comfortable at all. We stayed one week on a leisure trip and vowed never to return. We left with aches and pains that did not exist before we slept here. Also, I called for a replacement iron because the iron on the room leaked water and left some type of black smut on my shirt. I waited literally an hour and nobody brought a replacement iron. I ended up taking the iron to the front desk and leaving it with the receptionist and telling him I would pick up another iron whe I returned later that evening. When I returned that night, the night receptionist said they had not left a replacement iron for me. However, he got me one. Our stay here was mediocre at best. The hotel’s art is nice. I also notice hotels now say self-parking available. However, when you arrive, parking is $20 per night. No big deal, but be concise and not ambiguous. I also considered the $450 incidental cost excessive, but again, just my personal perspective.

What a great hotel! We only stayed for one evening but this place was colorful and eclectic. The bed, bedding and towels were all soft, new and clean. The room was spotless AND it smelled fresh too. We won’t stay anywhere else from now one. The restaurant downstairs was yummy and the staff were welcoming. Highly recommend.
