Beautiful quiet room close by the noisy Tanzania CBD. Bath water is a bit murky, other than that the service and facilities can be considered top notch in Dar es Salaam

The Kilimanjaro offers spectacular harbour views, spacious rooms, and warm Tanzanian hospitality throughout. Staff welcomed me with smiles, upgraded me to a high-floor room. The gym is a standout–bright, air-conditioned, and exceptionally well-equipped with modern cardio machines, a solid free-weights area, and plenty of space to move. When humid weather attracted tiny harmless insects one night, the team responded in minutes: instant move to a beautiful suite, all my clothes laundered and pressed free of charge, and the general manager personally checked on me at checkout. A small glitch became a masterclass in service recovery; I left even more impressed and will happily return. Highly recommended.
