#1. There was a dirty wet towel laying behind the bathroom door #2. There were crumbs on the table between the two beds. #3. There was a wet glass ring on the table between the beds. #4. There was a wet used coffee pod inside the coffee maker.

OK for a quick trip

The staff at front desk were good; courteous and informative. Room OK, but unimpressed with bathroom. Lighting was dim, adjustable showerhead didn't work well at all, and the shower door didn't close properly. And the price I was told I'd have to pay to park in the garage across the street was insane for downtown Des Moines on a nothing weekend. It was more like what I'd expect for San Francisco or Chicago. Breakfast was OK, pretty standard for selection and quality among this level of hotel. Otherwise, pretty average.

There definitely needs to be more parking space to check in. We had to park a block and a half away. I also dontthink we should have to pay an extra fee to park overnight. Other than that, the stay was fine, and they had decent breakfast.
