Viva Mexico !

This is a wonderful, eclectic, B & B, with spacious apartments with a Mexican theme - we have stayed here in a previous visit, and because of that, chose to stay here again - it is as amazing as when we first stayed here, and intend to stay here again when we visit Dresden again. A hint: take the number 7 or 8 trams north from the main train station to the Bischofweg stop to get here.

The room was okay, but it was just 4 euros cheaper than my Berlin hotel. The letter was pretty much a decent hotel with daily cleaning and all equipments necessary, while this one was just like a dormitory room with shared bedroom. I thus wouldn't consider it eco friendly.

Solid place. Near public transport, shops and restaurants next door, longer (well feasible) walk to the center. Breakfast modest. Wifi 100% working. Friendly staff. Overall, I would come again.

Wonderful find! I was originally concerned, because it sounded like a hostel. I got a private apartment and it was fully equipped and very good looking. Staff were helpful and it was easy to accces old town through trams 7 and 8. Highly recommend it.

This room would have been better if it came with an en-suite, instead you share facilities with 4 other rooms but there was a sink in my room. It does come with free WiFi though which is great. I opted for breakfast which was every bit Continental and they served a great cup of coffee.

I really enjoyed staying here. My studio was clean and well-equipped and I really liked the vibe! If you are here for business, I think you need to be aware that there is limited parking. The day I arrived, I got there at mid-afternoon, so I was able to find a place in a nearby street, but in the evening, it is really quite difficult to find a place to park. This is not a reflection on the hotel itself, which I think deserves more than 2 stars, but to give an honest overview of the amenities and surrounding area.

Cute hotel in Dresden. Bus stops almost right in front. Large grocery store next door. Very handy! Had to walk up one flight of stairs to check-in and another to my room. Rooms were in clusters so that four rooms would have access to one bathroom; these clusters had their own entrances from the hotel stairway. Room was fine--bed, bath, wi-fi. No TV but I was fine with wi-fi.

Awesome place! 5 STARS ! !

The staff was super friendly & the rooms were extremely clean! My dad & I have bad knees & the staff changed our room assignment to the first floor upon ohr arrival! The location is even better. The place is a mile or two from the major tourist attractions but there is a tram stop right outside this place - the tram runs very frequently & is VERY easy to figure out. There are many restaurants & bars a couple - yes a couple - blocks behind this place as well. Finally found some great german food! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS B&B!

Quirky but great!

We chose this hotel because it was the only one we could find with 24hr front desk in the area for our short turn around trip to Freiberg. When we arrived they were very nice and he showed me to the room, it was clean, had plenty of room to spread out and it was decorated in a very fun way. The location was right off a main street and their parking was limited so we had to park out on the main street for the night so we had a 100-200 meter walk to the door with our children in tow. The only strange thing for us was the location of our private bathroom was outside of the room but we had a key and it was private so we didn't have to share. Overall this was a great place. Little quirks but friendly staff, clean room, spacious, and just what we needed.

Nice hotel in New Town

Great hostel-style mexican- themed hotel in interesting neighborhood. We (family of 4) had a 6 bunk room w private bath to ourselves. A short tram ride away from old town, this hotel was a real bargain compared to others in Dresden.

Ich fand die Unterkunft mittelmĂ€ĂŸig. Umgebung und Personal sind zwar super, auch die kostenlosen Parkmöglichkeiten (allerdings nur fĂŒr 6 Autos) sind ein , aber ich denke, dass man sich als Hotel nicht darauf ausruhen sollte. Hotel heißt auch und vor allem: Übernachtung, RĂŒckzugsort. Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer, wo schon beim Herein kommen die Luft so dick und warm war, dass ich das GefĂŒhl hatte, mich fĂŒr die falsche Unterkunft entschieden zu haben. Dieses Zimmer- und damit wohl alle auf dieser Hausseite, heizen sich sehr schnell auf. Offenbar schlecht gedĂ€mmt und keine Klimaanlage. Die Matratze war unbequem und das Kissen zu dick und mit Kunststoff gefĂŒllt. Es sieht so aus, wie ein Kissen, ist aber wohl jenes DĂ€mmaterial, was an der Aussenwand fehlt. HĂ€tte mir die Dame an der Rezeption aus Mitleid nicht irgendwoher einen Ventilator geholt, hĂ€tte ich wohl garnicht schlafen können bzw. nur zwischen 02:00 und 06:00, wo die Temperatur im Zimmer durch permanentes LĂŒften sowieso etwas gefallen war.
