Yksityinen sijainti Doe-joella. Kaksi makuuhuonetta, kaksi kylpyhuonetta. Uusittu remontti. 25 minuutin ajomatkan päässä Bristol Motor Speedway, Roan Mountain, Watauga Lake ja Tweetsie polku. Lähellä ETSU ja Milligan College ja keskeisellä paikalla kuuluisan "Etelä-Dozen" moottoripyörän harrastaja. Downtown Elizabethton on lähellä. Yksityinen sijainti, mutta lähellä ostosmahdollisuuksia.
Doe-joki on tunnettu Trout-kalastuksesta, etenkin syksyllä. Meillä on 400 jalkaa joen julkisivu kalastukseen ja melontaan. Talo sijaitsee muutaman minuutin päässä South Holston-joesta sekä Watauga ja Doe -joen risteyksestä, joka on yksi Itä-U.S: n parhaista Trout-alueista.

Booked the home for a fishing trip the third week of April. The home is on the Doe River and has a very nice, covered deck on the back overlooking the river. Every night we sat out on the deck and relaxed to the sound of the water and the rapids. We had awesome weather and enjoyed the stay.The house is well appointed and decorated. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare and cook meals all week. The bedrooms were comfortable. The living room was set up well to watch tv in the evening.Fishing was slow on both the Doe and the Watauga. A neighbor told us about the flooding in September of 2024. I am sure the flash flooding took most the fish with it. We saw both minnows and a hatch and I am sure both rivers will be back to producing excellent fishing soon.We drove up in the hills east of the Wilbur Dam as well as Roan State Park. Both drives are worth the time. We hiked a bit at both locations. The Appalachian Mountains are beautiful in the spring. It would be worth a fall trip.Thank you to both Richard and Diane. We enjoyed our stay!

We came to this area to attend the NASCAR Race at Bristol and had the opportunity of staying here.The listing is accurate as this house was perfect for our stay! The house was clean, well stocked and decorated so beautifully! It sits on the Doe river and we spent hours just enjoying the river and watching the wildlife. This is a very nice, clean, well-kept property. It is an older home that has been redecorated. It is located in a quaint, quiet neighborhood but a comfortably distance from neighboring homes at the end of a road. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped. The beds are firm but comfortable. Both bathrooms are well supplied and clean. The home has a large covered deck that is just steps away from the banks of the Doe river, which provides relaxing background sound when the windows are open. The host is gracious and welcoming. Overall, this is an wonderful property.

Fantastic day from start to finish. We booked this house for our family Thanksgiving and it was perfect. Communication with host was great throughout the process. Journey's End is absolutely beautiful, the home, the property, the river. It is so peaceful. We've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals, Journey's End has been our favorite. We never wanted to leave, and can't wait to stay again.
