It was very hot upon arrival to our room. It took awhile for the temp to lower once we adjusted it. The lobby/breakfast area was extremely warm. Made it uncomfortable during breakfast. None of the ice machines worked. Had to go buy our own ice. Would’ve like to see the pool area a little cleaner and the gym had a broken window. Was only given one key upon arrival which was weird.

The staff literally told us the room number and nothing more. We called down and said there was no soap in the room for washing hands or for the shower, and they brought up shampoo and conditioner. No soap. The staff in the evening at the front desk was more friendly. The gentlemen that checked us in could use some more customer service training. A hello would have been nice.

The room was fine except there had been some wall and ceiling damage that hadn't been fixed in one corner of the room that looked pretty nasty. If it weren't for that it wasn't bad. I don't think it represents hotels.com in a good way letting people stay in rooms like that before repairing them.

The property was clean and quiet, convenient location to my work site. Breakfast was supposed to be from 6-9am, I made it the lobby around 6:15am and the breakfast area was dark and no food available, I sat for about 15 minutes and could wait any longer, so I checked and departed in order to be on time to start my workday.

The maintenance man was so friendly and helpful and went out of his way to make sure we were taken care of..went to have breakfast Saturday morning and there was no food and was told they wouldn’t be making any more..person called off..the maintenance man cooked eggs and bacon and biscuits and made sure we were fed .. new management needs to find more workers like him

Rate this hotel 1/2 star! Needs major work!

I had read reviews about this property prior to my stay. I was hoping they were misleading but in fact they were ALL true. The property is VERY run down and need a good cleaning. The room looks nothing like the picture on this site and should be updated. The bed were comfortable and the shower was nice and warm. The rest, well it wasn't the cleaniest and I more than likely will not stay at this property again in future. The pool was FREEZING and very slimey, the walk way around pool was gross. The elevator was filthy. We skipped breakfast bc if it was anything like the rest of hotel I wasn't risking food sickness. They charged my credit card four times. All of which were not the amount given on my receipt from Hotels.com. Spoke with manager who said they will take charges off. Waiting to see if that will happen. I'm sure there will have to be calls made. I do a lot of Yelp reviews and not pleased with how this stay went. I have also been an Assistant Manager of several hotels brands for 15+ years and this property was the worst I have seen in my years. If the manager lives and stays on property he should really have the hotel being cleaner and nicer for his guests. Please read other reviews bc I strongly agree with there comments. There are SEVERAL other hotels in the area and especially on Peach street. I have stayed in a total of 7 of them in Erie and rate this one a half star. Do better LaQuinta.. and update your hotel!

Sign in staff incompetent. Spoke so softly couldn't hear. No towels in room. Staff didn't bring them. We had to Get them. No ice. Not up to reasonable standard. Wont stay again

The hotel is in poor condition from lack of maintenance and upkeep . the entrance is falling apart , the mattress was unusable and shower assembly in the tube setup was unusable for the stay , because the spray head would not stay in place .

There was black mold in the shower. The water was turned off mid-afternoon WITHOUT NOTICE. No black tea-- just decaf tea. I dont drink coffee at all. And i dont drink decaf tea either. Stale bagels. Pleasant staff. The road construction around the hotel made it inconvenient to enter and leave, but that is not the fault of the hotel.

Stay was good. First person we met at counter was a young man not friendly at all, second person the next day the same way. Breakfast was good, the person who set up breakfast was very friendly and helpful. The shower was dirty, had hair and old soap in it. But over all it was clean. I would give this place 3 1/2 stars.

I checked in an hour after check in start time and room wasnt ready for another 30 minutes. Elevator is weird i was going to level 3 as i passed 2 somone pressed the button so it went back down to two then down to one then other people got on so i then went back to 2 then finally to three
