We enjoyed our nightcap at the bar…very friendly staff. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable.

The breakfast was a grab-and-go affair with limited options. The room was clean and spacious, but the bed was creaky. To top it off, our room card keys didn’t work, forcing us to visit the reception after multiple unsuccessful attempts. One of the keys even stopped working during our stay. While the hotel wasn’t terrible, these small inconveniences prevent it from being a truly great place to stay.

Given a room and when I walked in the room had not been cleaned. Had to go back to the reception and get a different room. The staff was apologetic but… the hall lighting was very poor. Didn’t feel as safe. Inside door safety latch was broken.,

The breakfast is a bit disappointing. The basics, coffee, juice, yogurt and a few pieces of fresh fruit as well as a toaster. No place to sit so take it back to your room or to go.

I checked in to the clerk arguing with someone on the phone. Looked at me while rolling his eyes. Finally finished and got me checked in. Needed a first floor room due to limited mobility. No elevator or carts. The room was filthy. No housekeeping. Reported it back to clerk who let into a profanity laced f this and f that. My wife called him on his language. He told her he was way beyond that. Finally got a second floor room and luggage assist. That room was still dirty even though housekeeping had been performed. Met with the owner the following morning who helped getting luggage to car. He was not at all surprised by his employees’ behavior and blamed it on hiring a relative of another employee. Not at all acceptable. The owner should have simply refunded the entire cost for the stay. We travel often and worst experience in memory.

Didn't drink. First room issue after lugging out suitcases up the steps, was the key lock didn't work. Went to front desk three times until they gave us another room. Never got into the room. Second room was average clean but musty smelling. Window didn't work to open. Air conditioner compresser went off every two minutes all night. Smell was musty and we couldn't breath from something all night. Took four days to get back to breathing better. Bed not bad. Clean bathroom but low toilet. (Can live with that). Great maintenance man. Very helpful, kind and considerate. Wish I had a better report but the desk didn't come up to help except to issue another room after making my husband take the stairs three times. (six times up and down). We are 76 and can move but we just came from working a large garden all day and needed rest. This was not the way to start our time off. Had to work the next day as well and we needed the rest. Hope you get better as time goes on. We have never experienced this before from any hotels we have stayed at. Breathing shouldn't be a factor. The staff as very friendly and accommodating even offered us towels to wipe down our bikes and directed us to a couple of wash down hoses if needed. Hotel has a pub and restaurant, rooms were clean. The only negative was there was no breakfast to speak of - a few pastries, fruit, coffee yet no place to sit. One of the ways for this place to go from good to great would be serve a great breakfast in one of the 2 restaurant spaces.
