Best of the chains

Apart from one private owned hotel/conference centre, and excluding a holiday inn, out of 24 nights of stays mostly in similar type hotels this was undoubtedly the best, best room, best facilities and decent breakfast and eating area. It was far better in most respects than the other Quality inn we stayed in, though all have been basically fine, this was better than just fine :)

Clean & comfortable room

We stayed one night in Alpine before going to Big Bend National Park. This hotel was perfect for this. It was clean and comfortable. I don't know that we'll ever be back to Alpine, but if so, I would stay here again.

Stayed here with my husband for a few days to not only visit Big Bend, but Marfa, Ft Davis for stargazing, and experience the surrounding areas. This hotel, with an adobe/western vibe, offered a complimentary continental breakfast daily which was a good start to our exploring days. Its location in the nice little town of Alpine gave us more options of grocery shopping, etc than the other smaller, tho closer towns, to Big Bend.

Nice place to stay. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. If you are using greyhound buses the bus top is next door to the hotel so it is very convenience.Fyi there is no elevator, so if yout room is on the 2nd floor and you bring lot of luggage you will workout a bit, but the staff is always kind and offer to help. Overall good place to stay while in Alpine.
