This hotel is dated. It needs a sprucing up. Other complaints: - Shower had very slow drain, I was standing in ankle deep water when done. - Toilet clogged in morning, went to front desk and they gave me a plunger in plastic bag, seemed liked a common occurrence. Plus: Location for travelling in great.

Location and amenities were good, but this area is a bit noisy for me. You can hear the car and truck traffic throughout the night, which made it difficult for me to fall and stay asleep. But the place did the job.

Check in staff not very cordial, no one at the front desk at checkout. A sign was posted with a phone number to call the motel next door for service. The room was partially updated but very worn and smelled musty. Bed needed replacement years ago.

First, I want you to know every member of your staff was very polite. Also, the staff cleaning the rooms were honest and did a great job. I lost one of my diamond ear ring and they found it and it was laid it on my sink. But to say the room was wheelchair accessible it is not. The bathroom was the main issue. The shower had a dip in the floor, and the shower chair almost made me fall. the handheld shower head did not work because I could not reach it. The towel racks are too high to hang your towels on. The electric socket was also too high to reach. And there was no emergency alarm. I even call and talk to the front desk before we came from Orlando to explain what I needed. I have only been in a wheelchair for 4 years and now recognize the difference between handicap accessible and wheelchair accessible. Please think about making changes for the next customer.

The staff was great, the room was great. The breakfast space seemed to be just thrown into the lobby and lots of sugary food choices with sausages. Egg patties aren’t as good as real scrambled eggs. Yuh as the crow flies it’s near downtown BUT Hwy 17 is totally unwalkable. No sidewalks that I could see. I managed to walk behind another restaurant to cross a side street to get to an IHOP for dinner. Last time I stayed in Fredericksburg I stayed on the other side of the river. Maybe farther from downtown but walkable so I did walk to downtown

Very disappointed

The staff is less than friendly, both check in and check out. Our room smelled like wet dogs and our pillows smelled of smoke in a non-smoking room. The pillows were extremely old and the beds very uncomfortable. It’s was really noisy too. We travel through the area often and will never stay there again and will never recommend it. It’s not at all what the reviews say on your website. We didn’t sleep at all and overall very disappointed in our first night on vacation 😩

All of the staff I met were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The price was great and location right off the highway was perfect for my road trip. There is also a restaurant that serves Italian and Indian food just a few feet away which was convenient for takeout food after a long drive. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that the property is older and a bit rundown. But as an overnight stop during a road trip, I’d stay again.

Decent stay

My hotel visit was decent. The room was comfortable and I had a good night's sleep. The decor was a little dated, but still functional. Parking was plentiful. I got a parking space just outside my room. The breakfast was decent and delicious.
